Overview
This is my third SCP-Inspired XCom 2 Mod. It adds a new sitrep called GOC Intervention, that spawns a GOC Squad hostile both to XCom and Advent. It feels good to be back to modding.

Currently, you can meet five kinds of enemies, all of them have 3 tier variants.

GOC Soldier
Soldiers are just regular cannon fodders with assault rifles and revolvers granting them lightning hands ability.
Later they get better Gear and stats.


GOC Vanguard
Getting closer to the enemy, vanguards carry around combat shotguns, and have the fan fire ability along with a sidearm pistol.


GOC Technician
Anti-Robotic experts are using Bullpups loaded with bluescreen rounds. Protect your sparks, and remember that they have an ability to mark targets just like Advent Captains.


GOC Sniper
Medium to long range snipers are in theory trying to get the best ground possible, but it does not always work.
Just like soldiers they are able to use lightning hands


GOC Peacekeeper
Heavily Armored Officers carry around lmg's and specialise in tearing down enemy armor. They are a mix of Tank and Dps. They always drop GOC Datamass that leads to researching new weapons, and it's special research projects unlocks after you discover alien encryption (Initial codex autopsy).


GOC Heavy Engagement Chassis
GOC-engineered Sectopod, which has an ability to shield all its squad members, and a stun lightning field. Only appears during GOC Death Squad missions. It drops a Chassis wreckage, which leads to it's new reasearch project. It unlocks after you discover alien encryption (Initial codex autopsy).


There's also a special enemy never present alongside sitrep, and he can be spawned with template name GOCPumaTheGreatApostole. He could be used for a bossfight, but his AI ain't different from normal peacekeeper. He is guaranteed to drop The Distiller and The Refiner, and can be spawned with 'DropUnit GOCPumaTheGreatApostole 1'. He'll oneshot just anything in his way though.

New Weapon rewards
GOCREFINERLMG Stronger version of Beam Cannon, that has blue plasma projectiles, and has the ablity of free fire, that allows you to shoot everything in a straight line every two turns
GOCREAVERSHOTGUN Stronger version of beam shotgun that always applies bleed on hit
GOCCHILLERRIFLEStronger version of beam rifle, that has a special shot ability that freezes the target in place
GOCBOMBARDIERSNIPER Stronger version of Beam sniper rifle, which shots explode on impact, destroying cover, but not damaging units other thatn the targeted one.
GOCDISTILLERPistol Stronger Version of Beam Pistol, With blue plasma projectiles and cosmetics. It has a "Burning Shot" ability, that applies acid burn and burning on target when it's hit.
They are unlocked through GOC DataMass decrytpion research and through GOC Chassis analysis, and can be built multiple times in the proving grounds, by completing their respectable projects.


Mod Includes all of GOC Customization options accesible for all soldiers.

I reskinned Skeletal meshes I took from Uncle Gunmann, Greenman, Kartoffel, and Capnbubs, in order to make them look like something that GOC Units could wear, at least in my Headcanon
All new items/projects/weapons have new Icons modified/made better by me.

One mild visual bug is present, but please don't worry about it ;)

FAQ
The game froze when it went to the GOC turn!
You didn't have the highlander installed. Please install it.

Enemies Appear with solid black parts of uniforms!
That means i screwed up shader compiling when i updated the mod. Please write a comment if that's the case!

The mission ended when there were still some of these enemies left?
Please use new Faction Anchor Mod:

It should prevent this from happening.

If you want to bugtest the sitrep on your modset, just use the command 'Forcesitrep GOCIncursion', in the geoscape, before next mission is spawned

Science projects unlocking the proving ground projects should be accesible after getting the GOC DataMass and GOC Chassis Wreckage, as well as alien encryption technology.

Team Changer Config
If you want GOC Squads to be friendly, All you have to do is change TeamChangerValue=0 to TeamChangerValue=1 in XComGameData of this mod. location of the config is Steam/SteamApps/Workshop/268500/1930344321/configs/XComGameData.ini
It will change the requirements of GOC Datapad research, since you won't be able to get it even if your friendlys die. It will then require an alien archive to get your hands on new research projects, and goc weaponry

@Shuri-Sama Unfortunately, that's a problem with the way the 3rd party teams work, all raider mods have the same problem. (I know Dark Eldar Raiders specifically blocks their sitrep on rescue missions because of this, I'm not sure if any other mods do though.)

I don't completely understand how the raider teams work, but they are repurposed multiplayer teams. So, I assume the game sees them as player teams, even though the units are all AI controlled. When a "player" unit spots a VIP, you get the "that's a confirmed visual" from Bradford, but the raider teams are hostile to the civilian team (the team VIPs start on). If they move within the activation circle, then a "player" has activated them and they switch to the XCom team -- you get control.

tldr: this is a problem with all raider mods. No one has been able to find a solution for it.

i found an issue (not sure if i should call it a bug maybe its intended):

if gog raiders r near a neutral goal like a vip civilian or the alarm device when doing the ufo mission they activate them (sometimes u dont even get control, happens to the mission when trying to rescue a vip +2 soldiers, so aliens can shoot them but no way to get out of the danger zone). would be good if u can remove this.

Is there a safe way to add extra mod slots on the GOC weapons? I have two on the Chiller by default, but I didn't see a spot to add them in the xcomdata.ini file.

It is a skill that some advent have, IIyatech. I think the dual pistol class also have. It work only with pistols, the character or enemy shoot on all visible enemies.
