  • Adds bulk recipes for stonecutting: 3 chunks at once = 60 stone blocks
  • Gain XP again, the amount can be adjusted
  • Change the required amount of work, separately adjustable for single and bulk bills
  • Select the used skill: Artistic, Construction or Crafting

Supported Mods

The following stone block mods are supported:

FAQ

Can this mod be safely added and removed at any time?

This mod can be added at any time. Removing this mod should only result in a one-time error message and the loss of any set stonecutting bulk bills. Just to be on the safe side, it is advised to create a separate save game.

Is it safe to replace Skilled Stonecutting and/or Bulk Stonecutting with this mod?

Yes, it is, but you will get a one-time error message when loading an old save with Bulk Stonecutting and lose all saved stonecutting bulk bills (as I stuck to the original RimWorld naming rules), which will have to be re-created again. You should also create a separate save game, just to be on the safe side.

Does this mod work with stonecutting workbenches from other mods, such as the one from Vanilla Expanded?

Yes, it does. As long as the other mod defines a workbench as TableStonecutter, the set work amount and learning xp should be used, and the bulk recipes should show up.

I only get 20 stone blocks using the 'Make any stone blocks x3' recipe.

The reason for this is probably another mod, such as 'Stackable Chunks'.

If you're after a more immersive solution, I would suggest a mod like Deep Storage.

As an alternative, you can also just use the specific recipes, such as 'Make sandstone blocks x3', which will still give you 60 stone blocks.

@Scherub I deleted my previous comment because I found out the mod is actually working fine, I just didn't know the xp came once the bill was completed

Yep, could be. If you want to know for sure, disable the other mod and see whether it works. You can also try changing the mod order to see whether this has any effect.

I'm sorry, but somehow I missed your post. Unfortunately, I don't know what green arrow you're talking about.

I would also need to know which RimWorld version you're using.

Should stonecutting show the green arrow on the skills menu using this mod? I don't think my colonists are getting xp.

I've updated this mod to v1.10, which adds support for the upcoming RimWorld v1.6.

I had to make a minor code change for the mod-configuration page to work. Other than that, after a bit of testing, it seems to be running fine.

If you still encounter any problems with this mod, please let me know.

Just a minor compatibility issue: When used with Rimsenal - Spacer Faction Pack , the "Cut Any Stone" order for the Survival Station from that mod will disappear. Anyway, Thanks for your work !

Aye, thanks mate.

@Toughest Gun In The West: I just subscribed to my mod and it showed up in RimPy as "Stonecutting Extended".

Occasionally, Steam doesn't download all files. Try unsubscribing and after waiting for a bit, try re-subscribing.

You can also check the files and compare them with the archive you can find on GitHub.

@Darkest_97: If the default XP gain is too much, you can lower it by adjusting the XP multiplier.

I don't want this to be OP. I read they disabled XP for stonecutting because it was too much. Are the default settings a lot? I don't know what the default gain rate is for other crafting things.

What is the actual mod name? I cannot get it to show up in my Rimpy, it's the only new mod I have this problem with.
