Overview
This mod allows you to follow citizens and vehicles in first-person view (or POV), providing an enhanced free-camera mode.
This is an updated version of First Person Camera v2.2.0 by Asu.
What's new recently:
  • Add ACME Support:
    • Support storing the current FPS Camera's position when using ACME's camera position storage
    • Support the recall of the stored position while using FPSCamera
A big thank you to Algernon for crediting this mod in the description!

  • Add hotkeys for Walk-Through mode, follow mode, and info panel
    > For details, check the tooltips by hovering the cursor over these settings.
    > The original info panel setting has been changed to "Show info panel by default." You can toggle its visibility at any time using the hotkey, regardless of the current setting.

  • Add a message to the info panel about switching modes
  • Now when the info panel is hidden and there're additional messages (mode switching, type setting saving), the message will be displayed through a minimalist panel

  • Various bug fixes and minor feature updates, please refer to Change Notes for more information.

For users having camera stuck to the underground issue
From v3.1.3 on, there will be a very self-evident notification to help you fix the issue by clicking "Quick Fix" when the game is loaded.
If you don't have the notification but have this issue, just reset your settings.

IMPORTANT REMINDER FOR COMMENTING
  • Make sure you've read the FAQ and Known Issues.
  • All error or bug reports MUST include a link to your output log!
Check the FAQ for how to share them.
So that we can see what is actually going on for you, then we can fix your issues.
Without a log file, all we can do is make random guesses and that wastes everyone's time!

This mod won't affect save files. I'm not sure why, unless you followed the "IMPORTANT REMINDER FOR COMMENTING". Thanks!

For some reason my savegame can't be loaded with this mod after the latest update. Does anyone know any possible reason?

@BluePaintball Of course, just press "]" or disable "Show info panel by default"

Is there a way to hide the speed bar on top?

Thanks for your reply! Maybe we could talk privately for better communication?

To add to the last comment. I have had this mod disabled and enabled, while restarting the game and so on.
Now it seems that nothing is interfering with network anarchy ui.
So i might it have been a glitch with some other reason then this mod. Or at least only periodicaly.

one more comment i'm afraid.
I have only been able to test this with turning of this mod off, and then the issue is gone.

With this mod active, then in relation to the network anarchy mod, clicking on buttons on the 'modes' segment of the ui for network anarchy will makes it disappear.
The same happens when using keymapping to change the modes, then that part of the anarchy mod also disappears.

The keymapping should not be conflicting with any keymapping that i have made in the first person mod.

Me again. with another comment beside the other two.

Im a big user of the commuter destination mod
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2475986859&searchtext=commuter

I know it is diffiult for modders to ensure mod compatability.
When i load a savegame, then the commuter destination works fully as intended and showing the 'pedestrian' icons as it should.
However, when ever i have used the mod 'follow mode' in this mod and then return to normal game, then the commuter destination does no longer show the pedestrian icons when using that.

Is it at all posible that this mod leaves something active when exiting follow mode or in some other way disrupts the commuter mod from showing the pedestrian icons?
