Description
TL;DR
This mod adds new xenotypes, including Thunder Warriors, Custodes, Firstborn Space Marines, Primaris, Primarchs, Living Saints from the Warhammer 40K universe. New production pipeline to create them. New systems: Armor Decoration and Ranking Tree. New structures and items.




















  • Melee Animation support included, all melee weapons pre-configured.
  • If Dubs Rimatomics or Crash Landing mods are installed, the Melachrome provides resistance to radiation from those mods.
  • RimHUD displays how much time is left before gene-seeds can be harvested. You need to select the “RimDark 40K - Mankind’s Finest” preset in the Content tab of the RimHUD settings for it to be active.

A: Please join the Discord[discord.gg]and tell me the issue there in the correct channel, REMEMBER to post an error log if one shows. Discord messages gets answered quicker, is easier for me to manage and the solution might already be there.

Q: "WHY IS AGRON HAPPY????; WHY IS EVERYTHING PRE HERESY REEE????"
A: Yes. The mod is built around the idea of “what if nothing ever went wrong” - like, what if the Horus Heresy never happened? But if you want Horus to be evil and Angron to be raging, don't worry, we’ll add these features in upcoming Chaos-related module.

Q: I'm using this mod with Facial Animations, and my Space Marines have angry eyebrows floating on top of their helmets.
A: While it’s pretty hilarious, this can be easily fixed. Just go into the Facial Animations mod settings and uncheck “Draw the eyebrows above the hat.”

Q: How do I turn on the option to have male Living Saints and female Primarchs?
A: While the latter is pure heresy, you can enable it by going to the VE Framework options and select the Toggleable Patches tab - you'll find it there, along with a bunch of other options.

Q: Living Saints? Eeew, girls!
A: You can set the Living Saint chance to 0% (effectively disabling them for your run) in the mod settings.

Q: Will there be Custodes gear also?
A: Yes, probably.

Q: Will you rework the other mods too?
A: Probably, but this stuff takes time.

Q: Can this mod be used with your other Warhammer 40k mods?
A: Some of them may work, reports say that Cybernetics, Abhuman and Psykers work. Core, Genes, Factions and Ideology will not.

Q: Living Saints? Eeew, girls!
A: You can set the Living Saint chance to 0% (effectively disabling them for your run) in the mod settings. You can also allow male pawns to become Living Saints in the same settings.

Q: Is this compatible with Grimworld?
A: Supposedly.

Q: CE?
A: Not currently. If you want one, poke them about it.

Q: Can I add this to an existing save file?
A: It's better not to. Technically, it might work (the fewer mods you already have in your save, the higher the chances), but we do not guarantee stability or proper functionality.

Good afternoon, dear developers. I was wondering if there are plans to add other human factions, I am a fan of Adeptus Mechanicus, and I would really like to see both their clothes and implants, I would really like them to have the same ranks as the Astartes. I'm also wondering if it's even possible to create a dreadnought in Rimworld? Thank you for your work.

I have issue with missing parts of armor texture at certain zoom lvl's, I know it is because of how Rimworld simplify graphics when you zoom out, but it happens only on pawns that are "too Big" so regular hulk pawn wearing armor looks fine while primarch crown is cut out...

It really is pissing me off and I want to fix it somehow at least for my playtrough with your wonderful mod... Reducing pawn size a bit would fix the issue... I tried looking into xml's and find out where pawn sizes are defined but I cant find it... could someoene point me in the right direction ?

Hey just wanted to say great mod i really enjoy the detail. I'm having trouble getting your mod to play nice with Mele animations animating the hands on the mele weapons specifically, you have any advice?
does it conflict with angeles of death?

I have a weird performance issue, I use the outfit stands that were added in Odyssey, and for some reason when I added the armour and a bolter my game goes to 10-15 fps... I checked and yes, as soon as I move my camera - back to normal. Any way to fix that ?

The MOD name specified in the patch file is incorrect.
"Big and Small + Prerequisites Framework" is now "Big and Small - Framework"

Yo just a heads-up for anyone having the issue of not being able to craft even though requirements are there, remove anything related to psychic sensitivity reduction. You're welcome.
