This category will include any lore-related items. Diary Entries. And Cool ideas about the greater lore and thought of the time period. Let this exist as a place to note ideas that would be outside of a sense relating to the game, but rather the lore Phylla and Roman have created.

My love Hannah, It has been years since you and I embraced. To hold each other's hands, I miss our son, Kraus dearly as well. It would be my dearest dream to be back on our farm together... I have read previous letters of yours, I cannot tell you exactly where I am stationed. But you can tell Kraus that I am in space. And no, I'm not kidding. At 'night' I sit in my bunk, watching the stars, the moon, the earth, and the sun revolve around us, it is very peaceful. Maybe one day, space will be the new German Frontier. Vast living space that stretches on forever throughout the Cosmos. One day, but for today, I only wish to hold you and my son in my arms once more. Kiss Kraus on the cheek for me..

Your Love, Schmidt.

Top Headline: "Loss of Suez Canal sends Royal Navy scrambling for new routes."

After a disastrous defeat in El-Alamein the British release the information that they have lost three divisions worth of Australian troops, a Armored Brigade, and a New-Zelander Regiment to Rommels Afrika Korp. With a massive loss to their military strength in the region, the british withdrew to the city of Alexandria, only to face a encirclement from the north and south of the city. The Brits were able to pull out the remnants of the armies by airlifting them out of the city on lend-leased American C-47's. Unfortunetely, most of the heavy equipment had to be abandoned. Leaving the Suez Canal ripe for the German War-Machine's taking. which they exploited a half a week after. This cuts off the Mediterranean from the Royal Navy's grasp. Experts say this will likely have a lasting effect on British Morale and Ability to carry the war to its finish.

"Bombing of Northern Ireland sends the IRA into revolt." - BBC Radio News

Critical Wartime bombing of cities in Northern Ireland has emboldened the IRA terrorist movement operating in Northern Ireland. Riots and attacks on protestants in the area continue to increase in a dramatic fashion. With Murder on the rise, Prime Minister Winston Churchill calls for unity in these troubled and dire times. In related news, there are also unconfirmed reports of the older German JU-88 transport aircraft dropping supplies to IRA resistance cells. But this has yet to be proven. This story is developing and more information will be present next issue.

Lead by the famous Douglas MacArthur, the US Marine Corps prepares to take on the Japanese horde and defend the last beacons of democracy in South-Pacific. In the Outback, resides over 40,000 US-Marines. 70,000 US-Army personnel, and 200,000 Commonwealth troops from Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. The US military and her Allies prepare to strike a blow that should tip the tide of the war against Japan, and restore Allied initiative in the eastern conflict.

Phonix-Projekt Development Log: Gerhard Leist
Rank: Leiter von Reaserch
Log Entry date: June 7th 1940

The development of this program has achieved the highest of my expectations and more. This however, has brought the eyes of the highest personalities of the Reich upon me and my work. Hermann Goring, Heinreich Himmler, and Reinhard Heydrich all eye my work with envy. They misunderstand that this is a war, and not a political dispute. Though their posturing and political interference with the work they now claim to be unethical. I have received reports from my staff that there was a isolated incident where a Shambler possessed its memory, and spoke clear German to the staff. If this is true, we have a true goldmine on our hands.

This is Gerhard Leist, signing off.

Researcher-1: "...Is the Audio-tape on?..."

Researcher-2 "..Yeah, I can't believe the boys sent a joke here.."

Researcher-1 "Alright, lets get this out of the way. What is your name and rank?"

Shambler-A295 "My name is Karl Strasse, Gefreiter of the 62. Infantrie Regiment."

Researcher-1 "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥....uh..-And you are.. indeed.. alive..You can hear us?"

Shambler-A295 "I do indeed hear you. As for alive, I don't know. I thought I woke up in hell until one of your researchers found me in the bathroom trying to scrub my necrosis affected hands."

Researcher-2 "...Ok...What do you remember before you arrived here..?"

Shambler-A295 "I remember holding my Kar98 rifle, running across a French wheat field, then feeling a sharp pain in my stomach. I doubled over, and was screaming in pain. My only thoughts were of my wife Veronika, back in Freiburg. I then blacked out, died I guess."

Reasercher-1 "..Alright...that should be all..anything else..?"

Shambler-A295 "Another chance, I still 'live' so I still wish to fight. And take revenge for the ones who killed me, and thought they could put me in a casket and grave."

Researcher-2 "We might be able to get you that, sit tight. We're gonna get the Generalmajor.

Shambler-A295 "Thank you, I couldn't ever repay you for this chance you given me."

Head Chemist Carl Wein: "You can't seriously be considering this."

Administrator [Redacted]: "It is too late. I already signed the contract with Heinrich Himmler today."

Wein: "For [reacted] sake, this formula makes no sense! What the hell is [redacted]? It's not even a real chemical!"

Administrator: "Carl, if we carry through with this deal, think of the money. Think of how much we could make."

Wein: "I cannot synthesize a compound with a something that doesn't exist."

Administrator: "Listen, Mr. Himmler said that the government will provide us with [redacted] if we accept the deal. Think about it. If not for the money, then think about the breakthroughs you and your teams will make! We can shake the very foundations of the chemical science field!"

Wein: "Even if so, you served in the war! You know the horror that chemical weapons can cause. Mustard gas crippled and deformed men for life! I mean, if [redacted] is real, then what will it do, exactly?"

Administrator: "Carl, we don't have a choice, regardless. Earlier today, Britain declared war on us. I...we must do everything we can to help our nation in these times. If we do this, we could end this war by next year!"

Wein: "How much do they want again?"

Administrator: "Their order wants us to produce [redacted] tons a year for ten years."

Wein: "And you signed this? Are you [redacted] kidding me?"

*Recording ends*
