Pandora's Box (Legacy - Read description)

An important announcement
Hey guys! It's been awhile huh? I know it's been some time since a proper status report, so I am making one now.

Pandora's Box 2.5 has been coming along great, we have a lot of new stuff! Of course it's taken some time getting this version released, since it is so big, and there is still so much I would like to do for it...

Those of you who have been with me for some time now know how I update my mods: I push updates when a considerable amount of content has been compiled. This of course means updates don't come out as frequently as some mod authors around here may push their stuff, so that means you guys can be left outside the window, only getting an idea of
little bits and pieces of what is being worked on...

I'm not a fan of how this has been playing out, and I've been thinking of what I could do...

I thought about taking Frackin Universe's route, and just update as I go... but this would make the mod fairly unstable, and issues could very easily happen.

So, I've decided I will do a little of both:

Pandora's Box is splitting into two separate branches: An Unstable Branch, and a Stable Branch (the current version of the mod you have now.)

Currently, this "Unstable Branch" doesn't exist at the moment.

I just wanted to let you guys know ahead of time, so you know what to expect. When the Unstable branch is live, a link will be added to the mod's page. (It's also worth mentioning that this is exclusive to the workshop. It's a format like this would be a nightmare to handle on the Chucklefish Forums, as much as I love that branch of the mod myself... XD)

A few notes about how this system will work:

-Unstable will be updated as content is created and tested, and Stable will only update when the mentioned content in Unstable is ship-shape and (hopefully!) bug free.

-Do not sub to both branches. They both consist of the same content at the base level, and will cause asset duplicate issues. You can only be subbed to one at any given time.

-You may switch to the Unstable branch at any time if you're itching to sink your teeth into new PB content, want to provide feedback on the things landing in Unstable, or just want to help keep an eye out for bugs!
(Be mindful of the potential issues that may occur if you attempt to switch back to Stable if it hasn't received an update yet. Keep backups if you don't plan on sticking around for the long haul!)

This creates a good middle ground. Users that prefer the current update style can remain in the Stable branch, and users wishing to provide feedback, bug testing, or are maybe just too impatient to wait can use the Unstable branch!

That said, that's all I've got to tell you for right now. I'll let you know whenever Unstable does go live. Stay tuned.~
