Solving Issues With Launching Mods
The standard way to do this is, after subscribing to a mod and letting it download fully (make sure your downloads in steam aren't still going), to go into Forces of Corruption in the base game, go to Options > Mods > Select the mod you want, and then launch. It should close the game and re-launch in the mod.

Some people are reporting that the game often skips the step where it has to open back up with the mod, which is a pretty important one. This is usually because you need to ahve everything be set with admin permissions, since it needs to close and relaunch.

If this happens to you and you can't change your permissions, you can get around it by using the original launch options method.

Go into Steam Library, find Empire at War in your games list, right click > Properties

Edit your Launch options to be:

STEAMMOD=1125571106

Now, when you launch FoC, it will launch Thrawn's Revenge directly.

Hope this helps.

I followed the second option and found I don't have a mod folder, how do I fix that?

Just go into the corruption folder, right click, "New Folder" and name it Mods.
the mod doesn't show up in the mods

We've managed to get the launch options to launch the mod without editing your folders at all. Top post has been updated.
can anyone tell how to set admin permissions ? I'd really appreciate it

If you just use the launch options, you shouldn't need to change anything else.

You don't need them to be in the mods folder. The instructions in the top post tell you how to launch them from the workshop folder, including giveing you the exact launch options you'd need to just paste them into your launch options. You don't need to edit any folders.

I know but im just asking about some other things as well because other mods dont have the same thing you have.
