Yes find the ai vs ai battle that caused it (blinking crossed swords icon on map when freeze happens), then reload older save then prevent said battle from happening. There are older threads on this in the forum as well that may contain other workarounds but sadly no FAQ and ppl get tired of answering same questions again and again...

No people not tired for answers. People tired to search for helpful comments and a solution. But iam sorry, there is no solution. 3.3 crashes always after some cycles randomly. i ve tried it a dozen times. now i play only 3.2 cause its stable and playable.
