This mod is great and sucks at the same time.
Love the mod, but holy unbalanced scaling. Doing the 1 planet start is impossible. Planet next to me starts with a SSD, and first attack against me is a level 194 offense, and every defender is anywhere from 100 to 290 defense, I am lucky if I can get 3 planets before im attacked and I have no chance of defending.


How the hell do you handle the unbalanced odds with a 1 planet start?

The one planet start is meant to be the challenge GC.
The size of the independent starting forces is set by your starting difficulty so if you want smaller fleets you need to start with Recruit, but you can increase it afterwards in-game.
The starting forces are random so you just had bad luck there with the SSD

Ah thanks. Dont get me wrong, I utterly love this mod. But my luck is suck all on the default difficulty. Ill lower it and try again.

Its doable, even on hard level. Only Hapans sucks in hard difficulty.

what? hapes can get capital ships at any planet one turtle tender and 7 attack frigates and you are good to expand hapes are one of the easier factions in cuel ai ftgu

Ya the one planet starts can be hard but usually if there's a planet with a ssd nearby there's at least another planet without as well just really have to be picky choosing where to attack and focus fire in those first battles my personal beef with one planet start is that its not the full map with all factions one planet and no hero recruitment

clicking attack and having it SPEEN 180 to show its ass, is not a skill issue. its a mod issue
