republic heroes and elections?
does electing a new chief change the heroes i have in the field? im heavily leaning on mon mothama for discounts to stretch the budget, but could really do with a different chief for general bonuses. will she be removed if i elect someone else?

Electing a different chief of state won't despawn them, but they will eventually do so after a specific point. You'll still be able to elect them past this point, even if they died.
