EaWX: Thrawn's Revenge 3.4 (Updated April 2nd)
Fighter AI
is there any way to make it so that fighters dont always seem to fly towards nebulas and the edges of the map when using Search for enemies? I cant tell you the number of battles ive been in and while half of my fighters might be engaging the enemy there are always several that want to wander off towards nebulas or the edges of the map away from the action.

typically i put my fighter and bombers in control groups so i can micro them a bit. helps keep them on target and lets me pick what i want them doing. but im not aware of an automatic way to manage this.

search is garbo either manual target, put them all in a place where they are bound to find enemy targets or attack move

so this means youre not aware of how to edit the fighter AI then currently?

Try the discord, they may respond to you!
But otherwise.. I do it with control-groups as well. (You press CTRL and a number. For fighters, I always use CTRL+4. For Bombers: CTRL +5.
That kind of helps them to stay in the place where you want them.
WHich is usually around big formation to counter enemy bombers.

Though I do play with the 'shield penetrator' mod, which makes everything that bombers have go straight through. So watching big bomber-formations becomes even more crutial than it has been even before.

Hope that helps~
thanks

I hate maps with nebulas on them... they are not in your favor.
