Heroes Mechanics Suggestion
First of all, I'd like to thank Corey and the whole team for such amazing mod which carried me away into SW universe for a week straight, I literally can't stop playing.

During my last play-through I have managed to destroy Chimaera in battle, playing for the New Republic and thought about how Imperial remnants would react to admiral Thrawn's death? Furthermore, in Timothy Zahn's Thrawn Trilogy it has been evident that the sudden death of the most prominent Imperial admiral shocked all his subordinates and had many non-combat, rather political consequences as well.

So I came up with a suggestion - what if the death of Tier I-II hero (general/admiral/major hero) would generate temporary penalty for the loosing side (for example, -10% attacking power, -5% defense to all units) for several cycles after hero's death, considering the obliterating psychological defeat and severe loss of morale among the subordinates. While on the contrary, the side which has managed to destroy the fearsome admiral/general/Jedi/etc. - will receive a temporary bonus of morale boost.

The penalties and bonuses may wary on different tiers of commanders. For example, the duration will be 3 cycles for Tier II and will expend to 5 cycles to Tier I character, as well as the buff/penalty (I suggest -7%/-5%, +5%/+5% for Tier II and -10%/-7% , +7%/+7% for Tier I).

I understand the complexity of the present mechanics and the limitations of the engine, however, it would add more realism and excitement to the game, perhaps even making 'commander hunt' an actual strategy.

That's interesting, but maybe too much.

It would just lead to people babying their heroes more than they do already.
