Eh,ok...but how?:-)
Without the mod I think it was liek 500 cats for the bread and 75 cats for the dried meat, however meatwraps sold for like 750 cats.
The idea behind the mod is to make raising cats harder. Costs for thigns liek blueprints, building rentals, new recruits remained the same. Think of it as a higher difficulty setting, especially considering an experienced player would have millions of cats in no time at all, making cats almost worthless.
Thanks, but I did not ask for how the mod works ( I know it already as I praised its balance).
I need to know from Neko the numbers related to what is written in the patch notes.
so i also added a higher amount of mats being required to craft said items. so that in reality it costs more to make each item.
right now this seems to be the only way to balance out weapons and armours since i can not adjust the price for each tier of the weapon or armours without affecting every single level of said items.
example.
basic armour. armour chain cost a base 1 fabric and 1 chainmail piece.
under the revamped it now costs 1 fabric and 3 chainmail pieces.
to make the chainmail now requires 4 steel bars where it used to cost 1.
and to make the steel bars it cost 1 steel bar but now requires 1/10th carbon and 4 ion plates.
i did this to all crafting stations so all armour and weapons have a higher cost to produce and takes longer.
So if i understand correctly, among other changes it will cost even more fabrics to make a sword?
i pretty much left fabric alone when considered for crafting of most items, unless it's a cloth only item.
if there is a real world example, i adjusted it so it's a bit more realistic in that regard.
My main source of income are swords, I don't use (or produce) armor at all, but i look forward to try the new balancing.
Thanks again for the very nice mod and the assistance you (and the others) give to the community. Kenshi's community is still a pretty nice community thenkfully;-)
thus adjusting the amount of profit you can make. since i cant seam to adjust the actual prices of weapons themselves without affecting the entire tier tree of that model.
