I have some questions to rdav about turret UI:
1. Should turret UI have some extra interface? I mean additional icons or some? Is this bug in my game or there's not additional visual interface?
2. To set distance we use Q and E keys. Keys change the distance by 1 kilometer, right? But is there possibility to see what distance is actually set?
3. After last update (ver 4) i can issue orders only to fighters. My Fregates and Carrier are unresponsible to select them. Is this a bug or i'm doing something wrong? I copied every new code and recompiled every program.

btw, sorry for my english...
Thats all for now. There will be more questions soon, so thanks in advance for replies.

You should enable HUD visibility to full visibility, this will show you on screen all currently selected ships, what didtance you have set etc.

Are the frigates and carriers close to the ship you are commanding from? the UI only allows selection of ships when you are pointing at where the code thinks they are, and the angle between where you are pointing and that, (eg the RC block on the drones) if you are close to that ship (less than a few hundred meters) they are often difficult to select

OK, problem with big ships solved. They were c.a. 200m from command ship. Thanks for support in this.
But i don't know how to enable full visibility on HUD. You mean the TAB key (partial/full/none)? Or there is any other option? I searched options menu and found nothing. I tried TAB key of course, but this didnt work for me. There is no difference between patrial and full visibility.

Oh, i deleted LCDs from "Turret IU command module" - may this couse a problem?

If you press 'h' (the default key) it will allow your HUD to view icons as 'Fully Visible' 'Hidden' Or 'Normal' to enable full features of the UI enable fully visible and when you use the turret it should pop up like what you can see in the gif on the workshop page

Oh, tkanks. Many hours of plying SE and never used this option. Never too late for learning.
Another questions/problems:

1. When i select fighter and give it order to dock on carrier, sometimes fighter fly away in random (for me) direction and when it reaches random distance it makes maneuvers as if trying to dock.
2. During this maneuvers i can not select the fighter. The same problem was when fighter tried to dock to my resupply connector on carrier (not designated for fighters). Fighter was unselectable.

Any solutions for these problems?

When the fighters are issued with a dock command on the turret UI you need to firstly undock them from the carrier you asked them to dock to, this was to prevent the drones from being pulled away from a carrier during the middle of precise manouvers when docking, which can be very detrimental to the code.

random direction might be due to LCD placement, rememeber to check your LCd routes and make sure they are ALL pointing out of the hangar, and that the code isn't grabbing oddly placed ones by accident.

LCD's are placed correctly. Routes are consistent with your tutorial.
There is a link to carrier blueprint (with some essential mods, sorry):

I still have problem with docking fighters to to connectors on carrier who has resupply connector (dot designated for fighter docking). This connector is switched off and there are no LCD's next to it. But fighters try to dock on this connector. How to prevent this?

Do you use turrets to detect obsticals? Or raycast only? Or both?

Stupid question, but why does the LCD UI not work in multiplayer?

I would love to know the answer as well.

is it not possible to order drones to attach to land on the command ship using the Turret UI? I have tried several times but the turret won't select the ship its part of as a landing location.

Hell I just tried building them their own carrier and the turret UI won't recognize it, it keeps using the goto distance command even when I point straight at the carrier's RFC antenna or the connectors

Edit: Just figured the carrier bit out, had to point at the program block to get it to recognize the carrier, still no luck with docking/launching on the command ship though

Yeah kinda hoping a response is put out soon. Am on server that allows scripts. Want to blot out the sky with waves of drones.

I figured a way around it if not. I attached the carrier to the command ship with connectors, so I just look to the back of my ship to dock or launch.

Lol. Thats one way to have a carrier/command ship. Dont forget a landing gear, just in case you hit p by accident.
