Although, I could always use the original series shuttle craft... hmm.
Yeah that's probably going to be what I'm going to do. I really wanted the blackbird to be the bomber, simply because the design looks like a stealth bomber...
But people seem obsessive about the Raptor, so it'll probably end up the bomber model.
and also nukes? with models that simulate them both?
If its going to be a rapter, make sure its an assault raptor instead of the standered. Because I know thats a common mistake people make with certain mods.
Just a few suggestions on the ship classes:
Corvette: Defender Escort
Destroyer: Bigger Defender Escort design?
Cruiser: Bezerk (since it's a beefier escort ship meant as anti-fighter screen)
Light Carrier: Orion-class (from Blood and Chrome)
Strike Cruiser:
Battlecruiser: Artemis-class (from BSG Deadlock)
Battleship: Valkyrie-class
Carrier: Galactica-class (with added Large hard points?)
Dreadnought: Mercury-class
Supercarrier: Mercury class with super carrier module while retaining the Dreadnought hardpoints?
Super Dreadnought: Bigger Mercury class perhaps?
Science Ship: Colonial One
Construction Ship: Flat Top Ship
Colony Ship: Unknown "Colargo" Biosphere Ship
Transport Ship: Perhaps a typical ship design from the game would suffice
And sorry for pretty much only using BSG-Deadlock. Its the "easiest place" to find ships etc..

If you can you could add the clothing of the colonials (and maybe remove the ship prefix (eg. USS))

As of currently, the mod is going to remain only a shipset mod. I do, as is listed in the "Goals" thread, intend to add animated portrait clothing and other such minor features. Scripts and such will come MUCH MUCH later, once I managed to fix engine trails, add Cylons, and finally get a NSC patch added.
Also, Sans, I already have models and plans for NSC ships. I will take your suggestions for where ships should go, and already had plans to replace the transport ships with something more civilian in design. And unfortunately, none of the models will come from Deadlock. I am too worried about copyright infringement issues, and am focussing on the fan made models I have in my archive. And trust me, they won't dissapoint :D
I understand what u mean with copyright and I didn't mean it that way. BSG-Deadlock was just my source. But I still think the fanmade stuff will be great too!
