if there a possibility to change the model of the corvette to another, for example, to the model of "berzerk"

At a guess the "Launcher" ship that you didn't know what to do with is probably the drop ships used during a planetary assault. Raptors might be a better choice.

@SCCOJake Someone already informed me a time ago, and Raptors were my first choice :D
Although, I could always use the original series shuttle craft... hmm.

If possible, I would like to see a weapon placements for the turrets, I would LOVE to see the turrets in action :D

I'd say before you add more things, you should try cleaning up the models a little bit. I'd say they are pretty high-poly for being such small ships, and the shaders are a little wonky. Overall, very good conversions after reading your story

Well done! Shouldn't the bomber be the Raptor though, and the launcher another ship (like the shuttle)? It just doesn't make sense to launch planetary invasions using Raptors, because they can only carry a handful of soldiers compared to a ship that could actually ferry down armies.

Yeah that's probably going to be what I'm going to do. I really wanted the blackbird to be the bomber, simply because the design looks like a stealth bomber...
But people seem obsessive about the Raptor, so it'll probably end up the bomber model.

Im not sure this is a good suggestion but maybe a weaponset simulating the KEWS (Bs Galacticas main guns on teh top or the pegasus frontal batteries)
and also nukes? with models that simulate them both?

Since ships in stellaris have different cores, would it be possible to have different battlestars or colonial ships based on that? For example a corvette with an Intercepter Core design would have a different model than a corvette with a striker core. Would allow you more freedom in adding colonial ships, but it's just an idea.

If its going to be a rapter, make sure its an assault raptor instead of the standered. Because I know thats a common mistake people make with certain mods.

First off, thank you for taking the time developing this mod, seems like a lot of people playing this game are appreciative of it as well :)


Just a few suggestions on the ship classes:

Corvette: Defender Escort
Destroyer: Bigger Defender Escort design?
Cruiser: Bezerk (since it's a beefier escort ship meant as anti-fighter screen)
Light Carrier: Orion-class (from Blood and Chrome)
Strike Cruiser:
Battlecruiser: Artemis-class (from BSG Deadlock)
Battleship: Valkyrie-class
Carrier: Galactica-class (with added Large hard points?)
Dreadnought: Mercury-class
Supercarrier: Mercury class with super carrier module while retaining the Dreadnought hardpoints?
Super Dreadnought: Bigger Mercury class perhaps?

Science Ship: Colonial One
Construction Ship: Flat Top Ship
Colony Ship: Unknown "Colargo" Biosphere Ship
Transport Ship: Perhaps a typical ship design from the game would suffice

To begin i want to thank you for making the mod.

And sorry for pretty much only using BSG-Deadlock. Its the "easiest place" to find ships etc..

a few suggestions:

If you can you could add the clothing of the colonials (and maybe remove the ship prefix (eg. USS))

Now the ship suggestions:

Corvette: Adamant (BSG-Deadlock)
Destroyer: Ranger (BSG-Deadlock)
Cruiser: Artemis (BSG-Deadlock)
Battlecruiser: Valkyrie (Too cool to not be in the mod)
Battleship: Jupiter (The Galctica from BSG: 2003 remake)
Dreadnought: Mercury (The Pegasus from BSG: 2003 remake)
Carrier: Zerberus or Basestar from BSG-Deadlock

Fighter: Viper Mk II (BSG-Deadlock)
Bomber: Heavy Raptor (BSG-Deadlock)
Recon: Sweeper (BSG-Deadlock)

Science-Ship: Colonial One
Construction-Ship: Nuclear Transporters (One of the story missions of BSG-Deadlock)
Colony-Ships: Medical-Ship (BSG-Deadlock)
Transport-Ship: Atlas (BSG-Deadlock)

For the orbital shipyards you could take Ragnar-Farpoint (Also called Daidalos)

If you are forming a support group of people that can help in writing some short stories for scripted events please let me know. I want to help this mod become the best it can be.

As of currently, the mod is going to remain only a shipset mod. I do, as is listed in the "Goals" thread, intend to add animated portrait clothing and other such minor features. Scripts and such will come MUCH MUCH later, once I managed to fix engine trails, add Cylons, and finally get a NSC patch added.

Also, Sans, I already have models and plans for NSC ships. I will take your suggestions for where ships should go, and already had plans to replace the transport ships with something more civilian in design. And unfortunately, none of the models will come from Deadlock. I am too worried about copyright infringement issues, and am focussing on the fan made models I have in my archive. And trust me, they won't dissapoint :D

I understand what u mean with copyright and I didn't mean it that way. BSG-Deadlock was just my source. But I still think the fanmade stuff will be great too!
