Attempting to modify your Worm script
With the intention of increasing the size of the Worm's particles, and AOE of the "Impact". Generally, make it bigger . Going to use it for my upcoming Dune Campaign. I've used the worm before on a previous Dune campaign. But I'd like to change it up a bit. Hope to hear back soon. :wololo:

I'm working on a singleplayer campaign that's based off of Dune, but it doesn't have sandworms.

I'm however, a bit sceptical about this.
A bigger worm would be useful for such a campaign, it's just that we can't lean too much on bigger and bigger worms and overall lower performance rates from the game engine because of the amount of code that's running. Plus the fact that this is a game engine from 2012.

This is the main reason why I decided to not use sandworms in my campaign, since the bigger they are the more they could cause lag for lower-performance machines that may play on the campaign.

I do agree that it runs the risk of performance. But I've used them before. I'd propose that adjusting the scale of the smoke particles wouldn't be terribly hard on performance. Then there's the scale of the AOE. That, I can see doing a hit on performance. But if used sparingly. Should be alright. This entire script after all requires no outside mods to work. It's all done in scripts, which benefits the performance overall since the engine doesn't have to project any 3D information that isn't properly optimized for Arma 3.
