Just wanted to make a short post to show how to integrate the larger octagonal weapons (like the arty cannon and larger rotary plasma gun.) Maybe I'm just slow and everyone immediately figured this out and this is completely unnecessary, but I assume there are at least some people like me who spent some time trying to figure it out. I'm going to be descriptive in lieu of images.

To cut to the chase, the part will fit in the center of a 9x9 gap. First take nine 'pole' hull blocks on Scale 1 and arrange them into a rectangular 3x3 shape. You want to attach four of these (one each) across each of the 3-block midsections of each edge of the gap. At this point you can fit the octagon comfortably inside. For better integrity, you can then attach Scale 3 triangles to the corners, and further fill the gaps by attaching Scale 3 trapezoids to either the trangles or the gun itself.

Again, maybe this is common knowledge, but I'm hoping this helps someone.
