i noticed the DC3 for the Farmers uses 900 energey per shot and that is 7.2 times as much energy per shot then the trebuchet which is the super weapon compared to the DC3.


Also almost every weapon is stupid expensive to use compared to vannila.

Also some of the new weapons for sentinal have a stupidly high amount of recoil

@spinnirack - Addressing your points in order:

The game doesn't understand how some of the weapons in this mod work. In the case of the trebuchet compared to the DC3, even though the listed stats claim that the DC3 uses 800 energy and the trebuchet uses 75, this is not accurate. The trebuchet actually uses 3150 energy per shot, because it actually fires 42 shots at once. Many weapons in this mod work that way (using many bullets in the same spot to look like a single shot), because the game makes larger projectiles bigger, so if I made it a single very high damage projectile, the visual effect for the bullet would be absurdly huge - by stacking many bullets into what looks like a single one, it allows the visual effect of the weapon to be a reasonable size, while having the same damage.

The most expensive weapon in the vanilla game is 2757 P. This mod adds 85 parts which cost less than that (most being much less), and only 15 which cost more. Of those which cost more, they are all considerably stronger than anything in vanilla, and would be horrendously overpowered if I made them cheaper. If you'd like to see more weapons in a certain P range though, tell me what you're looking for and I'll try to add some.

Assuming you're referring to the resonance cannon (since none of the others have a lot of recoil), I'm aware of this and it's working as intended. It's a direct physical consequence of the weapon having very high velocity. Different weapons have different weaknesses; the resonance cannon is very powerful and this is one of its intended drawbacks (conversely, one of its strengths is that due to physics, it imparts an equal amount of force into its target - a good hit can send enemies flying across the map). It's also a very big and expensive weapon which is primarily designed to be used by huge ships which can more easily handle the high recoil. good to know and i did find the muzzle brake mod.
my only problem now is the stats not being truthful.
