How to get your orig mod back
Wasn't allowed to post more than 1000 characters in the comment section so trying here instead.

Been there with an old mod I made. One way to see how a mod local mod looks like is to create a new one and look at the files.

If I remember correct these are the steps to get your mod back working locally:
1 Subscribe to your own mod so you get the files. Unpack the zip to your c:\user\USERNAME\documents\pardox interactive\stellaris\mod
2 Open ugc_1312627863.mod in an editor, it's in the mod directory just mentioned.
3 Remove subscription of the file in Steam. If you have the ugc_file open it won't be deleted. This removes the zip from your drive.
4 Edit the already open ugc_1312627863.mod, remove the archive line and replace it with path="mod/Cherryh_Influence"
Change the supported version to something you like, 2.2.* ?
Save and close.
5 Not sure but I think you should copy the new ugc_1312627863.mod to descriptor.mod in the drirectory mod/Cherryh_Influence

You should now have the mod functioning locally and your changes are uploaded via the Mod Tools, press Fetch Info first, then Upload. Otherwise you'll create a duplicate mod!

The mod is great but the name isn't since we aren't on Cherry anymore. My humble suggestion is that you change the name to Starport Influence or something like that. I think the name can be changed from here inside the Steam Workshop. It's a great mod and the name might make players miss it even if they search for mods with influence.
