For the love of god, explain to me the new magic system
Genuinely i don't get it.
Spells are doing things that are clearly different from what's written and intended and i understand it's the ENHANCED MAGIC SYSTEM
but how the hell am i supposed to know what works in which ways when the game blatantly lies about spell effects!

If you go to

steamapps\workshop\content\704450\1342401238\hak

You should see an EMS_Changes.txt file which explains the changes.

Note that it's not 100% perfect and Savant is not the author of the magic changes of text document but I do agree with him that EMS is on a whole significantly better than the default system.

I go all the way to 704450 but can't find that particular number of file, is there anywhere online i could look at the changes?

If you go to the NWN vault and find the hak download it should have it.
