Propose features you want to find in the new versions of the mod and report bugs that you find in current!

Please, keep in mind that mod was created mostly for APCs (like M113 or BTR-80) and for realistic gameplay style. The mod is based on idea that fire starts when vehicle cannot be repaired anymore. So it's basically just replaces vanilla 1000-ton IED explosion to fire, that is more realistic and gives a chance to survive for a crew.

Something that could stop the fire with the right timing say the explosive(lets go with an RPG round) hits the vehicle dead on the side (lets go with a M113) the round used is more so Penatrive then explosive puting a hole in the engine and fuel tank (but in normal play would still result in a fire) having the chance to fix the hole/fire temporaly to so that it doesnt blow up and can be recoverd by a support team later or usable for a small duration before it then goes up with no way to stop it only more violent

Hey Buzzil, it would add an incredible amount of life to gameplay if you made it so that people could catch on fire in the game, like in ACE 2 for Arma 2. This was really a cool feature.

Hi! So I would like to expand what I was trying to say in comments. Is there a possibility of expanding the mod so it will work this way: if damage has been dealt to the vehicle gun (tank for example) and ammo is hit it will trigger the cook-off, but if it had been hit in the engine - it will trigger VOF and not the explosion. And is there any possibility of VOF damaging the ammo rack to the point when ACE cookoff being triggered and tank blows up. Also can I contact you somehow beside Steam, since our community might be interested in this mod and can help with the testing.

If you do implement what Verich has suggested could you make the Abrams blowout panels functional in the case of ammunition exploding as it would be much more realistic. Also, could you add in vehicle mounted fire suppression systems that the crew can activate to put out the fires in hopes of being able to recover the vehicle.

Bug: Tanks/Helicopters has no engine selection, it's cause script error and wrong position of fire

This mod triggers fire when engine or fuel tank being damaged way beyond repair conditions. And fire supression system are mostly implemented on track vehicles like IFV/Tanks and air vehicles.

As an option, but as i understand - vehicle fire is very hard to stop without fire truck somewhere nearby, so chances of success will be pretty low

Don't know... once players put on fire - should they be able to put it down? Should they perform some actions or just survive for timeout?

Blow panels are 100% out of scope of this mod.
Fire suppression - too cool for me, but maybe, if some ideas about fire extinguishers will work.

I guess it should work like this: Hit engine/fuel -> fire started -> before sequence ends, if tank/ifv has 25mm+ ammo on board - cookoff is triggered and ka-boom; if not - ammunition cookoff started for few seconds and then vehicle burns down (then ace handled ammo cookoff starts on wreck, so it may be too heavy as both will be executed same time)

Yes, I would say it is the best implementation of this idea. It just make the tank expirience so much better.

Really good mod - i think adding a chance that the vehicle catches fire (similar to how ace cookoff is handeled) would be nice to give a bit more variety - so a vehicle might catch fire or might not - or if it is a IFV/Tank catch fire or outright cook off

A high speed heli crash still results in an instant explosion. Any chance you could find a way to fix that? Would be really nice, since this mods approach is imo a lot better than the other survivable crash mod (which throws you out of the vehicle for some reason). IMO Ace impact damage should be the main factor as to whether you can escape the crashed heli or not.

Maybe a version using Blastcore smoke instead of vanilla an option to use custom smoke? (If at all possible, I apologise for my ignorance where it comes to modding)

I really liked your mod! I know the focus of the mod is damage effects on APCs, but it would be great if you could add an ammo cookoff effect to the MBTs.
