I prepose that everytime you convert a county, you get a bonus of 10 or 5 points to all the three tech trees. I think something around that seems the most balanched and makes sense. But it would reallty need to be tested to balance it propely.
They also get an extra bonus in the form of the ability to build special tech schools for extra tech points. This bonus is something you unlock once your realm is big enough to support the cost.
So there's already both a flat bonus to learning and a bonus that increases as your realm size increases. It isn't linear... but it probably shouldn't be either, because if it was atheist kingdoms would be OP.
