So there seem to be a strange effect that could be a mod conflict
a tier 4 dropped during combat I captured it
then a random F solar flare happened right after the capture
I then saw that it was on my side but not on my side
after I tried to rescue it, it joined my settlement
I has a connection some where but not from me and it has NO NEEDS

So I am not sure BUG or FEATURE
where it remembers that is is the ENEMY after some time or another solar flare

Edit:
Found out that if another solar flare happens the tier 4 will drop and be removed from the colony but still be part of it
after a save and exit to main menu then load
the android is back in the colony list

Seem if you have any RX drop then capture and hold out for a solar flare
You will get it will out researching the conversion tech
As long as you rescue it after the solar flare is over, it just joins
with no antenna or chip needed to control it
Don't think this what is suppose to happen though
