Synstructs is the successor to this for 1.5 (and once 1.6 drops for 1.6). Unfortunately the SkyMind and related features got left behind in 1.4, due to unfixable bugs and an unwillingness by our main coder to deal with it.

You can also check out Mechanical Humanlikes + SkyMind for 1.4, which, in my opinion, is the best version of the mod you can find. (It doesn't hurt that I was involved in getting it there >:])

major game breaking updates ARE only once every year or 2 already
1.3 and 1.4 had over a year between them
modders DO NOT need to update for the hotfix updates between them

this mod died during 1.2 when it merged with the addon and then didnt fix any of the issues the merger caused

i am still sad its been left behind, tho i partially blame the rimworld devs for doing constant updates on a game that remains popular primarily due to its modding community, they need to space out the updates to only major updates and/or bugfixes once a year so there are as many mods compatible with each version of the game and lessen stress on mod devs
if they just spaced out the game updates, much less work would need to be done by the hundreds to thousands of modders that need to update there mod to the current game version every small update

you guys did a fuckers job, this mod deserves a proper recode that works with no big flaw in 1.4 or 1.5, if i learn how to code properly, i will do it myself, theres no reason to don't do it (except for the difficulty).

This mod was so buggy in 1.3 the troubleshooting discords legit wouldn't help you if you uses it
So "as good as this was" isn't a pro to people who tried to help users fix their saves

Artificial Beings Framwork is our officially endorsed fork of this mod for 1.5.

Currently missing is the SkyMind portion of the mod as we have found a game-breaking bug in there. Other than that, it's just a little more difficult as Synstructs (Androids) now need time for maintenance and coolant and lubricant to function properly (Made from neutroamine which in turn can be made from meat) and you can no longer spam T1s with just components. (We have a replacement for that.)

Buggy and breaks saves commonly
There is a rewrite into something new by killathon
And a fork that fixed a ton of bugs but didn't fix enough as it's still breaking saves

So, is a 1.5 version nonexistent, as in not coming?

IIRC the rename choices were chosen by a poll on the discord community for the mod
I ignored the poll cause i cared little for the name

@Reed_33: All our mods are treated as one. They were made modular for those who want to play with one part, but not another. Androids (now called Synstructs - blame Killathon) have different needs than organics. If you don't like something, change it. The mod is open-source, so you can fork it and change whatever you dislike or make a local change.

That SkyMind didn't make it to 1.5 is a temporary issue until either Killathon has more time to spend on modding or another community member steps up to fix it.

в своё время я критиковал Android Tiers Reforged [LEGACY], теперь даже он лучше чем сборка Android Tiers Reforged [LEGACY], теперь вместо одного мода где есть по сути всё, нужно ставить 8 и молиться что они все работают и обновлены, а к тому же теперь у роботов очень плохой баланс что их использование по факту больше мешает играть.
