not directly - It took me a long time to figure out how to keep a pawn alive that I also wanted to upload, and I found out that if you use an involuntary organ donor AKA Prisoner, and slap a VX chip in them (I think it need's to be a VX1 at least), and a VX in the colonist you want to keep, you can copy their mind to the prisoner, then upload them to the core via the prisoner, since any time you upload to the core, the uploaded dies, regardless of if they are a meat bag, or android. It's a very expensive solution, since each VX chip takes 12 glitterworld med to install, and there's no guaranteed way to get the chip back out of the body that I know of, besides harvest organs postmortem, and changing the settings to 100% bionics removal chance.
