I enabled the research gui and left the research completion mode as "letter" but I don't get the notifications when the research is finished, just a 100% missable text message on the top-left.
Is this a bug or is it meant to ignore the research completion mode when researching from the opotional gui?

If ctrl+click to open the vanilla research menu and start the research from there I get notifications properly.
