Too many Pirate Raiding Stations/Outposts.
First I'd like to preface that if this mod doesnt handle Raiding station and outposts, then im an idiot ;)

However, on a hosted multiplayer server, there is a ludicrous amount of station and outpost spawns, usually one of each type, per player in a given area. This can get rediculous, as with five players, our space base can have ten enemy signals surrounding us out of nowhere.

To make matters worse, the stations have a terrible habit of spawning extremely close, within their aggro range, and then begin sending waves of assailants at us. While i don't mind the difficulty, its becoming a relentless war of attrition we simply cannot win.

If its at all possible, what files/values would i need to change to get just the raiding stations and outposts to either calm down their spawns, and/or spawn a bit further away?

In the config for RandomEncounters, you'll want to adjust these 2 values: MaxShipsPerArea and AreaSize

MaxShipsPerArea should be a lower value, while AreaSize should be a higher value. This should fix the issue :)

Yes thank you! This should keep our screens from being completely cluttered with enemy signals.

Also, is it keens code that is causing some random encounters/cargo ships to suddenly spawn in gravity, or the mod? Its rather funny to watch an argentavis eat dirt, but its causing some lag when they do.

I don't think my spawner is doing that. It test the space cargo ship / random encounter spawn points and travel paths to ensure that it doesn't intersect with gravity. Argentavis may be a slight exception in that it does its own pathing (via its program block script) and may just wander into a gravity well on its own depending on the player position.

It only started after the recent major update, Random encounters like to spawn in gravity wells as long as youre in space nearby. Makes taking care of raiding stations and Cerberus Destroyers rather easy, but when those massive ships hit the ground and get eaten by voxels, it makes fps drop to less than 5.

it has though, given our home planet a hilarious level of acne visible from space.

If you're using the spawner mod, you can turn off the vanilla Random Encounter and Cargo Ship world options and that should stop.

I want them with the same intensity and aggro but in a larger area, with more distance from player

I have increased the AreaSize, mindistancetiplayer, maxdistantefromplayer and playertraveldistance but seems to not work or at least take the reversed effect to be more problematic

What i have to do to make them more aggresive but in a larger area with the same intensity of spawn ?
