Development Progress
Planning to release the next build (1.02) Friday 8/23.

- Cleaning up as many of the bugs in the comments as I can
- Adding ~7-8+ scenes, hopefully have time to add in the planned side quests (that's the +)
- This will finish off the Prologue and bring us up to "Present Day" in the timeline, should include scene 1 of Act 1

I still currently have my Re-Publish button, keep your fingers crossed and hopefully I won't need to make a new project. IF I end up having to make new projects each time I will start spacing out my updates and fixes so that I only have to make a smaller number of the projects, and I will be looking for bugs as soon after publishes as I can while they can still be Re-Published, and not posted anew. So initial bug reports right after releases are a great help :)

- Finished up 3 more scenes, as polished as they can be until extensive testing (read after published and bugs addressed)
- Have Maps laid out for the remaining scenes of the Prologue

Should be ~15 scenes total for the Prologue. Looking good so far for 8/23 release of the new build. Have a few days off coming up, looking forward to grinding out the remaining scenes.

*sigh* So great news in real life, and bad news for the new build. I got a new job. I'm going to be working both that and finishing out my 2 weeks at the old one, so that leaves me little time. I do not quite have the new build ready and I do not want to post it in it's current sad dysfunctional state.

It is likely going to be two weeks before I can finish it all up. That said, if enough people ask I can probably release the first half of that new content, the part that IS pretty much ready. It includes one large combat scene, and multiple story/legwork scenes. If enough interest is shown I'll get that out, otherwise I will wait and post the full finished prologue and beginning of Act 1 as soon as real life allows me the time to do so.

Big thanks to all my subscribers and all the SRR community, you guys are why I started this project, and why I am so committed to releasing the best quality content I can.

Real life is starting to calm down again, back to only working 1 full time job, which will let me get back to development. Luckily the one I left only needed me to stay through the week covering some vacations, so instead of finishing out 2 weeks, it was only just over one.

The long and the short is that I am back on the clock working on Truth Lies in the Shadows, so good news for anyone who like my project. Hope everyone has been patiently, and thanks to those of you who sent me good wishes.

Hoping to get the build I promised polished up and out the door soon :) Can't promise on when though, I still have to finish up about 5 scenes, that while basically there aesthetically are still non-functional.

As a side note, anyone interested in maybe helping with level designing, please drop me a line. Expanding to have a team of people working is something I'd be open to discussing.

Currently working on the build :) Like I said RL just calmed down to where I can focus some time and energy on it again. I have 3 scenes pretty completely finished, and 8 more roughed out for the next update, including basically 3 'Runs and the Story Scenes. It should draw the Prologue to a close. Then about 6 scenes into Act 1 the campaign will open up.

I may do a version of the campaign later down the road with the option to skip the Prologue, but only after at least Act 1 is finished, so there is something to do after skipping it. I am also hoping to finally get the workshop re-publish stuff ironed out so I can keep it all in a single project, but partially that rests with Valve, so we'll see. As of this next build I will be trying to use all the work-arounds I know to keep the project in 1 publish, that receives updates.

Ok, got another of the problem areas in the new content ironed out today. Still have one other big problem area I'm sorting out before I can release the next segment. I have the maps laid out for the remaining 5 scenes (The number of scenes grew, it's about 11 more expected in the next segment), but still need to do all the scripting and dialog. While I have storyboarded them, anyone who does this sort of thing knows, once I start laying it all down there is no telling where I'll run into problems :)

I also might be breaking the combat section left into two scenes to put in a waypoint mid battle, we'll see how large it feels. Also need to program my first Matrix scene, so might run into issues there. I've toyed around with the matrix, but not seriously done anything in it personally yet.

Hey, just wanted to chime in and thank you for what you are doing. It is very good, easily the best addition I've found for the game so far.

I did not have much else to say. So I'll just drop in that word of encouragement and be on my way. xD

Just wanted to update: I have been working some serious hours at work, so development slowed back down again. Still slowly chugging away on the next large section.
