I have already done some fixing: Fixed the drug dealer, the not working attribute checks and some typos.
Also there are shortcuts in the game. But you might miss a lot.
I have a couple of little bits of criticism:
No karma was awarded for completing the market fight. [FIXED, added 5 karma after the fight]
One of the patrons in the bar uses the same portrait as Ms Johnson. [FIXED]
There's nowhere to buy weapons/programs/whatever before the first fight.
[Thats something i havn't thought about. I expected that runner would equip themselfs before they start my campaign because thats how i do it too.
But as i think about it, IIRC as of right know decker cant save their programs? I need feedback on this one, because if its nessesary i will add a merchant. Otherwise you have to get your equip together before you start the campaign.]
Thee jack-in point in the market showed up before the homeless dwarf told me where it was. [FIXED, for whatever reason there was a prerequisite missing.]
----------
- Disabled the "create new character" feature because this campaign needs an older runner.
I am still quite at the beginning of your UGC. Great work so far ;)
What i didn't like was the beginning. Instead of being told i disdain this and i thiunk this or that
i would rather prefer you set the mood or describe to me why i should or could disdain a certain fixer. I thought as good as your storytelling is, it's often quite blunt.
And please don't get me wrong, i like the setting and the story so far, i just don't like the way you transport it in certain situations.
If your storytelling improves as quick as your mapmaking skills, we can all be exited ;)
Cheers
One other thing I thought of, is there a summoning point for shaman in the market? Or leylines? Maybe there are and I missed them, but on a map with so many fights my shaman especially was hurting.
I never played a shaman so i totally didnt know about that mechanic. I will look into it and try to add this things as soon as i understand how to make them/how they work. I simply didnt know about that. Thats exactly the feedback i need.
The problem with using a different UGC for your equip is, that only the stuff you carry with you will be imported. As programs/ESPs end up in the stash, a decker won't be of much use.. I've played a Rigger/Decker combo through DMS who ended up with a drone, a deck without programs and a free slot where that useless bug spraygun had been ^^ - and no money whatsoever to buy a gun or programs..
So, would be nice to get a couple Nuyen up front and a place to spend them..
As I used my well equipped Streetsam for testing Your mod, I didn't have any equipment problems ^^
Love the story so far.. take Your time and don't let anybody hurry you to finish it before it's done
:)
The only problem is that you cant save the decker programs/esps. So i fixed that in my campaign and added it to the van or the situations you need them.
And thanks for the feedback, great you like it. Im slowly but steadily working on it atm. I think 2-3 weeks and i will release the full campain. But for whatever reasons of right now people downvote my campain so its already pretty far down. Dont know why tho but people who like it dont seem to vote on it. So keep your eyes open for it :)
Don't bother about votes that much.. Maybe other authors got a greater fanbase and their fans vote their UGC up while downvoting all other UGC.. Just look at the comments given, 'cause those "loyal downvoters" usually won't bother to give you a verbal opinion about why they downvoted, alas the people who like your mod will offer their opinion openly ;)
Thanks again for the nice play :-D
