Stats/Controls/Spawn Locations And misc. Info
=Taming Info=

Kibble is broth of enlightenment and tames similar to Arthropleura

Broth of Enlightenment
Spoiled Meat
Raw Meat

=Controls=

Left Click - Kick [Increases Torpor and Drains Stamina]
Right Click - Web Cone [Slows, like Araneo]
C - Venom Spray [Inflicts Venom hp drain per hit]
X(tamed only) - Summons her Guards[note when tamed they only last 5 min before poofing]
O - Roar[Doesn't do nuffin]
Q - Gunk Shot [Blinds similar to dilo and has a much more potent venom to it]

=Base Stats=

HP: 1600 + 480plvl
STM: 580 + 70plvl
OXY: 120 + 12plvl
FOOD: 3000 + (doesn't really matter does it?)
WEIGHT: 1200 + 48plvl
MELEE: 48 + 2.4plvl
TORPOR: 2150 + 172plvl

=Buff details=

Queen's Melee - Similar to Basilisk or scorpion in that it deals torpor over time on hit, however hers acts much faster (over 5 seconds instead of 10)

Araneo Venom! - New Venom now stacks invisibly but does have a cap. The damage of the venom is directly based on how much damage is done to the enemy the damage does cap however to 1000 on normal dinos and 500 on bosses(Yes it does work on bosses, testing is still ongoing) The venom can be stacked by both the small spiders and the Araneo Queen herself. Early on in levels and at certain points later in the much higher levels an Araneo Queen alone CANNOT reach the damage cap nor can just the spiders alone. Working together is key to getting the most out of this. All spiders can contribute toward building stacks but Queens and Guards can only contribute a certain amount each no matter how many of them their are. Note that the Venom spit stacks the damage MUCH better than melee attacks do.

Queen's Guard - A buff the Araneo Queen gives to Royal Araneo and normal Araneo, this gives them a large damage and resistance boost(but sigh... Araneo will be Araneo....)

Guard's Melee - They deal torpor similar to how scorpions do on hit

Now as you can see, Queen's and her brood can really take a target down if they are able to keep attacking it and keep venoms stacks. Queen's are slightly more formidable in 1v1 scenarios now tho thanks to their venom but pelting them with ranged creatures or a swarm of smaller creatures can really destroy her whole gameplan. With her spidew bois she can fend off almost any single threat but will struggle if their attention gets divided and she is left alone. An important thing to note and take advantage of is that ANY creature counted as a construct dino (robot dino) will NOT be affected by her venom at all giving you a great advantage against her.

The Queen rises with her subjects and falls with them!

Scorched Earth - Dunes

Will this be available for Valguero, and if so, where will its spawn area be?

Idk the Valguero spawn entries so if she does spawn there, she will spawn on anything that is the same as the spawns above, but she wont spawn in any custom Valguero only areas

Just tried the BoE for taming, it didn't recognize it as food.

huh it worked for others who have tried to tame it... using a stack mod or anything? It also takes them a decently long time to eat it but next time put this in bug reports please c: and i'll look into it

I'm ok with the Roar being purely cosmetic. Personally, I get a kick out of initiating a retaliatory roar every time an enemy roars at me first. That's the first thing I do when a Reaper Queen roars at me.

Yea I thoroughly enjoy things like that however I've been debating making the roar similar to the interaction with Yuty and carno where if an Araneo Queen roars at wild araneo they will ally with her and if she roars again they will be tamed but thats just an idea

is there a way to auto collect the stuff she makes in her inventory?
DoomsDahlia  [developer] 21 Jan, 2023 @ 5:08pm
not really? And I didn't plan to make any structures that auto collected things, most good item collection mods can set white lists for things to collect, so maybe that route will help?
