Q: What is Lethal Necrotics Reanimated?

A: Lethal Necrotics Reanimated is a zombie mod series on VJ Base involving Source Engine game characters becoming zombified that pays tribute to other zombie games/movies/genres with lot's of variety, and many new features. It is also inspired from previous zombie/infection mods that have been around in Gmod such as Bio-Annihilation, Deadly Zombies and many more. This is a full remake of the original Lethal Necrotics by King of Pootis. LNR will focus on making a realistic and fun zombie apocalypse in Gmod with the following:

- Infection system
- Infection entities and SWEPs
- Different zombie types with unique abilities
- Custom models and textures
- Huge variety
- Customizable features
- Human SNPCs to fight with and against
- Choose who's side you want to be on, the Humans or the Infection
- Full VJ Controller support
- And much, much more!

Q: Who are the creators of LNR?

A: Darkborn(Me), and King of Pootis(Formerly).

Q: Why does this mod series exist?

A: LNR is the spiritual successor to Gmod of the Dead, unfortunately that mod series had many flaws and issues so King of Pootis had to take it down completely, so Lethal Necrotics was born to continue the zombie apocalypse. (Btw GOTD is back thanks to me and the people who were able to make it happen).

Q: Are you planning on making more mods for the series?

A: Yes.

Q: Is this the best zombie mod ever?

A: Well, not to debate, but I think it's one of the best on VJ Base right now. Not to say other VJ Zombie mods are bad etc. They are all good in their own way. Besides, this mod has more features than default zombie mods, like variety, custom models, infection system, spawners, infection entities etc, and it really makes it much more fun, especially for scenarios.

Q: What is your next installment for the series?

A: I don't have a specific next installment, so it may be random on which game I do next.

Q: Why did you remove the NMRiH animations and Infected animations?

A: Those animations are meh, so I made my final decision on using BO3 Zombie animations, however I did add some specific NMRiH animations into the BO3 animations, like biting etc.

Q: Will you bring back the NMRiH & Infected animations?

A: No, because I've had to go through a "Living Hell" to change their animations to the BO3 animations, so I'd rather not waste my time bringing em back, end of conversation.

Q: Please bring back the NMRiH & Infected animations! I don't like the new animations!

A: Look, buddy, I know a lot of you are probably upset about me taking out those animations and dislike the BO3 animations, but to my end, they're far better than what they were originally, so if you don't like it, then I suggest you just don't bother with this, period.

Q: Can I use these mods to make a video with, etc?

A: Yes, as long as you credit me and King of Pootis.

Q: Did you make the custom models for the series?

A: Yes and no, the only mod I had no involvement was the Half-Life 2 Lethal Necrotics addon, King of Pootis did all the work on that, I just improved it, but the rest of the mods, I made em myself.

Q: Will you be doing other game franchises and not just Source games?

A: Not really, I only have interests in Source games as of for now.

Q: Can I use the models, coding etc for my own use?

A: Absolutely not, it would be stealing, so I'm not allowing anyone to use the content within the series under any circumstances, if you do so there will be consequences. If it's for a specific reason like PMs etc, then we will discuss about it. Same goes with Server stuff.

Q: Can I make an Unofficial expansion for LNR?

A: Yes, as long as you give proper credit and make the main addon as the required item etc.

Q: Can I make a gamemode based off of this?

A: You must ask me for permission first, if I accept, you must add me as a contributor, otherwise I will decline.

Q: Do you take suggestions/requests?

A: I don't take requests. I am open for suggestions however.

Q: Can I add you because your series is great?

A: No.

Q: They are not working, T-posing, etc I need help!

A: Be sure you have VJ Base installed. If you tried any fix methods and they are still T-posing etc then I suggest you delete the .gma file by using the console command "menu_cleanupgmas" since the download might've been corrupted etc. If they are STILL doing the same issues then I don't know what to say, whether it's addon conflictions, or your PC is ♥♥♥♥ed.

Q: Zombie animals?

A: ...

Q: Will they have a eating corpse feature?

A: No, in LNR's lore the zombies don't eat as they prefer to increase their numbers and spread the infection.

Q: Do you have release dates for your projects?

A: Nope, I don't do release dates and I never will. Simply because I'd rather spend as much time as I need on a project and make sure it's in perfect quality before deciding when I should release it.

Can you make it so that when a walker infects a player or a NPC they stay like a ragdoll for like 5-10 seconds and then become a zombie? Kind of like Bio annihilation

Good idea
That's going to be difficult, right now I'm reworking on the Infection System, until it's ready, I'll only deliver small patches to it from the current version.

i personally think it would be neat to allow players using the vj possessor to be able to climb up/down walls or whatever it is the zombies do..

Where can I find them? I checked the npc menu AND the vj base npc menu and I cant find them AT ALL.

Try reinstalling it, likely because you got a bad download of the .gma.

What do the infection samples/barrels do? I don't understand them

If you know about Bio-Annihilation it infects NPCs and players and turns them into infected, the Barrels and Samples share a similar role in this. If the barrel or sample touches a player or NPC, it will receive large damage until succumbing to Infection.

will you make some hospital snpcs like sick- injured- staff and maybe when they get close to each other they use black mesa animations to talk?
Hey. I was just wondering if it could be possible for you to add sleeping zombies? You know like the sleeping headcrab zombies from half life 2? That would be pretty cool. What i mean is that they look like corpses or just have a sleeping pose, and then if you get to close or shoot them they'll wake up and start attacking you.
