FAQ: I'm having problems running EF/I don't like a thing in EF
I completely understand. I made EF to be as modular as possible just in case people didn't like/want/need some portion of it. You can subscribe to as much or as little as you like, but there are a few manually configurable options.
1. Load mod manager from Steam.
2. Right click on EF and select "Open Install Directory"
The computer will open File Explorer. You're now in your main mod directory.
3. Open the folder for the pack you want to tweak (Probably EF, Roofing, or Rainbow)
4. Find all the folders you don't want and delete them.
5. DO NOT DELETE the folder called "ConfigsDocks". Every other Pack needs it.
6. Go back to the mod manager and select Tools>Run Content Builder With Validation Checks.
7. You'll have to repeat this process whenever EF gets updated.

Which folders should I get rid of?

Anything you don't like! But most people will want one of these categories:

I don't like spoilers!
Unsubscribe from Nerdy, Mushroom, Black Metal, and Antique. (Possibly also Darkwood if you're very strict.)

I don't want a giant gingerbread house in my game!
Unsubscribe from Cookie House and generate a new game world. This just makes it so the house won't spawn in game. If you already have a house in your game and don't want to start over: you can demolish it and sell the pieces or you can unsubscribe from the Crazy Pack or delete the "CookieBlocks" folder inside the Crazy Pack if you don't even want the blocks. (Deleting cookie blocks if you have a gingerbread house in your world isn't recommended as it leaves permanent traces in your save file, but the game should be perfectly playable even with them missing.)

I don't want immersion breaking stuff in my game!
Unsubscribe from the Crazy Pack and Cookie House.

The mod is too big and I can't take the load times!
Unsubscribe from everything except what you absolutely have to have. The biggest offenders are: Lighting Edition, Rainbow Pack, Crazy Pack, Festival Pack, Roofing Edition, and Fence Pack.

If you still want some roof or rainbow set items you can manually remove colors you don't want. These take up a lot of space and catalog pages so they're my go-to recommendation for people to remove. If there's a version of the set you like you can keep it. Black, Grey, and Coffee are custom colors that aren't in vanilla. "RainbowSet" only has some lamps, a plushie and a bookshelf. I recommend deleting any roof colors you don't like/won't use.

My catalog is too big!
See the previous category about removing the Rainbow Furniture.
