V86 is now out on github: https://github.com/SonicTHI/SaveOurShip2Experimental
This is the long awaited version where the last of the broken features from 1.4 have been fixed and almost all the anticipated experimental overhauls are in place save maneuvering & accuracy and the new ship caching optimization. Wall lights are no longer a dependency, hugslib is removed, ships (and attached ships & fleets) can now save and be loaded in a new game scenario start. Micro parts are now available for smaller ships: micro life support, micro shield, micro reactor.

dang lmao please take it easy folks, I am happy waiting as long as needed for this. The stuff added in 1.4 is cool but SOS is literally my end game content and I'm confused you all don't have jobs with them yet making SOS just the next official expansion or something. I feel the content you provide completes the game 100%.
Anyway I have over 1000 hours and can wait a little longer. hope the stress and anxiety go away soon and try to ignore the "updates?" horde, cheers folks
Between waiting for Vehicles and having previously waited for this back when it was first announced, I see no issue in being patient. I'd rather get a high-quality mod with minimal bugs and as little impact to performance as its developers reasonably can rather than a rush job that tanks the game, after all.
Take your time, I'll enjoy my current playthrough and when you're done I'll enjoy playing your mod on 1.4
