Arma 3
Brief Lives - Episode 2

Flow of the story
Hi. I've done about 5 campaigns for A2, so what I have to say is only meant to help you, ok?
You need a bit more information from mission to mission and more connection between them.

You're jumping way over here to there without much information in the briefing, so I think more story telling is needed.
For example, Part 1, he is a pilot. Now in part 2 he is infantry. Why? You need to tell us why that is in the briefing.
Part 1, we make it to friendly camp. Then Part 2 starts but don't know story between the time at camp and now in this village with "gift from Nato". More connection with Nato involvement needed.

Part 2 to Part 3
Just starting Part 3 now.
Finished Part 2 but now I have to find Bastian. Who is Bastian? Why am I in this village having to escape?

I don't see the connection. So that is what I am trying to help with. Need more connection to make the story, if you're trying to make a story.

Otherwise, it's just a mission pack with missions (good missions btw!)

Hope this helps.....................

Here is the Campaign I am working on:

My editing is not that great for A3 just yet, so I have not uploaded to STEAM, but I so have a story that is connection one event to the next................I hope you try them out and give me the same feed back as I have given you..........I just learning like others ;-}

There was an issue with part 1 for a while - did you end at the dump after repairing the vehicle, or at the second factory after downing the enemy helo? Missions which were supposed to spawn got linked to a trigger I changed so didn't spawn. Much of the intro to the missions is in the Workshop descriptions. The story is all there, I believe. I'll review it, though. It may just be clear to me. Bastiaan is quite prominent in the first two missions. I tend to use him in conversation to set the scene with andros at the start. I avoid using him too much once the mission's underway as it might break immersion to have the guy who just took an rpg to the face next to you to start chatting a few minutes later.

I'm still not sure you played brief lives episode 1 before episode 2. It really sounds to me like you played andros 2020 part one, which us set years before when he was a helo pilot in the aaf and does, in fact, end at a friendly base.....

I do take your point, though about making the story clearer and will add a Story so Far to the in game briefings.

I'd appreciate feedback about whether you played them in the right order. It's important as I think a lot of your problems with the story stem from a misunderstanding.

OK, I see what you are saying. I must have missed the order of things.
I did play both 2020 and brief lives, but brif lives in not in your link with parts 1 through 9

The andros 2020 series is not linked to the brief lives collection on steam. The link on the BI forum goes directly to the collection, which has sequential missions 1 to 10. I had thought that naming the 2 series in entirely different ways might have helped avoid confusion. Sorry if I sound as bit snarky, but you'd negatively comment- bombed my post due to your mistake. I'm going to delete some of your posts which stem from this, but will leave the more constructive criticisms, which are welcomed. I hope this doesn't annoy you too much.

BTW - I meant that last couple of sentences - comments are welcome.
