Murayama Guide
The Murayama Build Set is a 59 piece Tier 3 set as a cold weather couterpart to the original Yamatai set and can be used to upgrade from Northern Timber Tier 1, Stockade Tier 2 and Bossonian Tier 3. The Murayama set does not include Wedge Foundation, Wedge Ceiling or Wedge Roof tiles by design. The Yamatai generally build using right angles. Instead there are multiple ceiling tiles, standard 45 degree and shallow 26 degree pitched roof tiles. There are also Hlaf Walls, Half Sloping Walls and a Half Stair. There is a square 1 tile Pillar and a round 1.5 tile high pillar.

The Murayama Build Set introduces an open Fusuma Frame contsruction technique allowing for open floor plans in keeping with the Murayama aesthetic. You can divide your rooms into smaller spaces by placing sliding Fusuma in the frames providing great flexibility in floor layout and use without constantly crafting and destroying walls and risking building stability.

Shoji and Fusuma
Sliding shoji doors and sliding fusuma decorated wall panels are placeables like doors but are designed to be placed into the Shoji Frame or Fusuma Frame (1x1 or 1x2). The Fusuma Frame pieces are placed like walls but are effectively post and beam, allowing for open floor plans while giving support. You can then snap Shoji or Fusuma panels into the Frames to define smaller spaces or enclose rooms. You can slide them open or pick them up entirely to offer a sense of openness without risking stability or consuming additional materials to place and dismantle wall pieces.

Shoji and Fusuma are like doors and not as durable as wall pieces, so keep that in mind when designing your builds. I hope to introduce some additional Shoji and Fusuma designs to allow for greater variety.

Half Stairs
With the introduction of Half Wall pieces it was necessary to also add Half Stairs. To assure proper alignment with upper floors, when using half walls, you will want to place the Half Stair first at the bottom. Half Stairs place at the center of a Foundation or Ceiling Tile and can be rotated to face the tile edges.

Once the Half Stair is placed you can snap a standard Stair to the top of the Half Stair and you should meet the upper floor properly. NOTE: Half Stairs will not snap properly to the top of a standard Stair piece.

Noren
Placeable curtains often used in Yamatai entryways, the Noren in Murayama do not have cloth physics but you can walk through them. If you need to interact with the Noren (like to pick it up) you can target the wooden pole at the top of the Noren.
