Low fps is not necessarily caused by bad GPU. After lots of digging we realized that the game in fact is heavy on CPU. Unfortunately again, nothing we can do.
Glad you're enjoying it.
thanks for the work and effort!
Nope. I didn't think this one would happen, to be honest.
@RETRO
No idea. You can try the following - unsubscribe. verify integrity of game's files, subscibe again.
Im into unreal 4 dev its heavy on cpu due to draw distance setup game was designed for top down with limited field of view,amount of meshes being drawin in ect.. and it has a destructive system setup as well burning destruction of buildings ect with physics..streaming pool size is another factor alot of unreal 4 games ship with that set to default unreal 4 editor size which is low...you can set this to custom size for editor by adding custom lines to the project config files.....know in this scenario there is another way ...this can be fixed through command lines done in config game spits out since you guys cant adjust it any other way...once you add the custom lines you set config to read only so engine doesnt over write it ...increasing the pool size may help with game crashes ect due to amount being loaded in and game was originally designed for top down view which is less overhead than the other views...
Ill get back to you guys on this in next couple of days after i play with it a bit with the custom lines i have in mind...there is also custom lines that can be used for physics handling as well as the game uses the Apex destruction system setup
I also tried a bunch of variables found on the internet but none of them gave us any significant boost. I can list them but not sure if anybody wants to see this.
Is there a default engine ini for the project? Im assuming there editor is just custom version of unreal 4 editor setup for this game so if so it should have same project configs as regular unreal 4 projects....
