Auto Shotgun - Very similar to the shotgun, but with a much faster rate of fire and no pumping animation. Each shot fires more projectiles on average than the shotgun, and in a much wider spread. It has slightly higher DPS at the cost of higher energy use.

Bullpup - The bullpup is essentially an assault rifle that comes in only burst fire mode. It's ever so slightly weaker and can't spawn with underbarrel attachments, but it's more accurate and can spawn with abilities like Ricochet Rounds and AP Rounds.

Crossbow - The crossbow is a hunting weapon, similar in functionality to the sniper rifle but with projectile drop. It counts as a hunting weapon for the purposes of collecting rare item drops, and can spawn with abilities like Triple Bolt, which fires three bolts at once, or Explosive Bolt, which launches an explosive-tipped bolt that detonates on contact with surfaces or creatures.

Handcannon - A slower firing pistol that you must use with two hands. It has a high DPS, but a slow firerate. It must be ♥♥♥♥♥♥ in between shots. It's high noon.

Lever Action Rifle - These are faster versions of sniper rifles that must be flip-♥♥♥♥♥♥ in between shots. They do less damage and are inaccurate, but they use less energy than a sniper rifle.

Longsword - Sort of an intermediate weapon between a shortsword and a broadsword. It deals more damage than a shortsword, but isn't as fast as one. A perfect weapon to pair with a shield or buckler.

Machine Gun - Assault rifles on steroids. These fully-automatic rifles have a high DPS and a high rate of fire, but use up lots of energy and rarely stay on target. They also don't receive underbarrel attachments.

Pulse Rifle - These come in either automatic or burst fire, and deal slightly more damage than the assault rifle. They fire faster and use different sound effects as well. Though they share much in common with the assault rifle, I felt it would be cruel to leave them out.

Rapier - Functionally, it's a faster, one-handed version of the spear. It has a simple one-step thrust attack, but it's good for keeping enemies at bay. Deals about as much damage as a longsword. Just like the spear, you can hold the attack button to keep the weapon pointed, poking anyone who gets too close.

Sawed Off Shotgun - Is that a double barrel in your pocket or are you just happy to see me? These are one-handed versions of the shotgun. They pack a wallop for a one-handed weapon, but they use up a ton of energy per shot and are wildly inaccurate. Nevertheless, they're a good backup weapon when a hostile alien gets up in your face.

Submachine Gun - Basically a two-handed version of the machine pistol. It has low DPS, but low energy consumption and a good rate of fire. Usually spawns with fun ammo abilities like Ricochet Rounds.
