Mod vs Default Spells
Specifically Flames and Healing at this point: The mod's Grand Fireball and Medical Ninjutsu overrride them. How many of the basic spells are overridden by this mod's spells? Is there anything, even something I can do client side, to keep the normal spells as well with this mod installed?

no spells are overridden
So, just to make sure, my new character having Grand Fireball 1 instead of Flames and Medical Ninjutsu 1 instead of Healing whenever the Mod's installed is just a problem on my end then?

it replaces your starting spells, it doesnt override the spells.
Ah, sorry, yes, that's what I wanted to say, again sorry, I didn't realise there was a difference. Is there any way I can keep or prevent my starting spells being replaced with this mod in action?

You could spawn the spell tombs in and just learn them or do that with commands to learn flames and heal
