Oh and for the countries, I can decode the names (barely :P) to give out hopefully correct translations of what you have called them on that map here:
Muksha Ulus: (Far away??? I could barely find instances of this word) People
Basharids: the word Başar means Victorious (as in the action of victory in a game of sports for example, without any time context)
Ulug Ulus: I think this means like, the top/main head of the turkic people? Ulu can loosely mean powerful
the Qara and Aq Qoyunlu guys are probably already known but just to clarify they mean Black and White Sheep respectively
I probably made some mistakes here but this is the best I can do

side note; if Ninydad is Turkic it does not really sound Turkic to me, though I love the other Turkic names like Muksha Ulus and especially Balık Ulus as it basically means Fish People
second side note; I'm no expert with languages and their construction whatsoever but I speak fluent Turkish so there's that. I could send a steam friend request for more organized input.

For changes in the culture that is Mishar currently:
Borisoglebsk could be Kurdomaniya, as the word Boris's origins could possibly mean Wolf, which the Turkish word for it is Kurt, and Gleb might have meant something related to god, so if they're Manichean, it would be replaced with Mani; and ye is sort of like the "ia" which goes to the end of names. If not Manichean, just put Tengri (Kurtengriya) as Tengri is literally what the god was called of their religion, as reflected by the modern turkish name for Lord in general Tanrı.
Riliz/Rilizk for Rylsk as a turkification of the name.
Vörneş, Turkification of Voronezh.

This is definitely not 100% reliable, but I'm trying :p
However most of the Bulgar countries have older names from when they used to be "Tatarized Slavs", so names like Ninydad, Mascusids, Galimod, Syunaed, Bratishids, & Aybanuds are completely random, most of which don't have meanings (except for Basharids similarity to Victory). I'm totally fine with scrapping these names for better sounding country names.
Mukhsha Ulus, however, was an actual country, I just spelt their name wrong :p https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mukhsha_Ulus
Some extra clarification: Ulug Ulus means "Great State" in the Tatar language spoken in the "Golden Horde" (ie Ulug Ulus). Also you might find it funny to know that Balik Ulus is actually being renamed to Balikoplis, having been influenced by neighboring Hellenes, being able to rename themselves to Balik Ulus if they get back to kingdom size. Though as far as I'm aware Balik is either Mongolian or Old Turkic for Fortress, I know there's pretty of weird funny ways that languages evolve so I'm not really surprised it means fish in Turkish, lmao. All the better to bring the mod to prime memedom.
Another thing; thank you so much for providing this community with a great mod. I love it quite alot. I wish I could mod as great but don't really know anyone on my friend list to walk me through that's professional. So really, good job on putting so much clear effort into this.
