I have seen the question posed a couple times, and the responses are incredibly unhelpful.
I want to know if there is a way to optimize gameplay?

Because while I understand this is an old game (I bought it back when it was released), I don't think the mod creators intend for people to play with so much lag.

I have played UGC a lot, and even with all of their edits, it runs pretty well, and smoothly.

But FOTR runs like garbage, and I can't figure out why.
I want to play this mod, but it's nearly unbearable.
