Republic ship / walker AI Needs some Serious Work!
Incredible mod, so much potential no. 1

However as I'm wrapping up my first GC play through I can't help but notice literally only a single glaring issue with the mod currently- the AI- especially any star destroyers. That issue being they will randomly turn around and sometimes spin in circles after completing move orders. Some times its to track a random group of fighters, other times they'll completely turn around and start moving in the opposite direction. Not sure if this has been acknowledged yet but it has the potential to seriously screw up fleet formations. (this also happens with the AT-TEs and other walkers).

That sadly is a thing with EaW pathfinding. There isn't much that can be done against it by a mod.

A way to work around it is as soon a ship reaches its destination, hold right click on it and and drag it slightly in the direction you want the ship to face until you see an arrow, then release. The ship will rotate in the proper direction.

In a perfect world, EAW would have formation locking like Galactic Battlegrounds, but it does not. Units just move independently of each other(they're supposed to move as fast as the slowest unit when group-selected, but that only works a quarter of the time in my experience in space, and never has worked on the ground.)
