need help in fighting lukerhulk
so I started Malevolence Conquest in Captain difficulty and the CIS have a LUKERHULK carrier that I'm unable to destroy. It has way too many bombers, and my ships get destroyed easily.I don't have the economy to build more ships, as the cis AI is so aggressive.i need some fleet suggestions and tips to destroy that thing.

So some specific Lucrehulk tips.

1.) It is round: This is in fact very important. The Lucrehulk is incapable of focusing all of its weapons on a single target due to its shape. If you attempt to surround a Lucrehulk it will be capable of using its firepower more effectively. Approach it from a single angle/side and focus on the weapon hardpoints there before spreading your fire out. You may also want to focus hangers to prevent it from launching more fighters and bombers.

2.) Bombers are countered by having enough ships with Point Defense. In case you've been ignoring them (which is a very common thing) during the Malevolence Campaign you have access to Light Assault Cruisers and Class-C frigates. Both are capable of shooting down rockets, bombs, torpedoes and missiles fired by fighters, bombers and ships. Support them with repair ships like the Class-C Frigate Tender to keep them in the fight. Lucrehulk's have large amounts of lasers which will be dangerous for your corvettes so be sure to target them for destruction.

As for fleet building...

Again, having enough ships with point defense to reduce the damage done by its bombers is a must. Having fleet tenders to keep your PD ships in the fight is a must.

Acclamators are capable of fighting off a Lucrehulk but you need to be careful with their positioning so the Lucrehulk is using fewer of its weapons at once. Dreadnaught Heavy Cruisers carry ions which may help in getting through its shield while also carrying decent amounts of lasers to kill fighters and bombers with.
The AI is smart, even when I try to maintain distance it comes closer with lukerhulk and smashes into my fleet, and the enemy bombers also only target my Venators. but I managed to destroy it when I got lots of carracks
