sorry no HC support but you can select best performance options from the admin menu or mission parameters for your PC

I tested your mod - it's great.
There's only one thing that upset me. It's really missing the ability to assign a sector to a specific side. So that you could fine-tune the starting positions of the sides and the line of combat contact at the beginning of the scenario.

There is "Number of starting towns" mission parameter which lets you choose how many starting towns each side has. That works only in two main sides + resistance mode though
If you fully want to control the starting towns you can create your own mission. Or Perhaps take one of the existing missions and edit that. The mapPlaces.h lets you choose the town sides.

One of these days I'll experiment with this mod. It looks promising.
-If player is playing solo, allow to pause with black screen (freeze all movement in the background) using an addiction perhaps
-If playing solo, add ability to save and load to continue progress at a later date

thx for the ideas. Unfortunately its not possible to pause the game in multiplayer even player would be the only one playing
The mission should automatically save it self but I heard some people had problem with loading it so Im not sure if its buggy
