World engulfed in creepy liquid
My world got consumed by creepy liquid and as far as I can tell it is this mod that is causing it. The new update that makes it possible to move through the collapsed Holy Mountain rubble seems to be causing the rubble to spawn creepy liquid. This happened when I was returned to the checkpoint in the previous holy mountain when I died in the next holy mountain before activating it's checkpoint.

I did some testing with cheat_gui and it seems that teleporting to a collapsed holy mountain from about 1 or 2 biomes away spawns in creepy liquid. I assume it has something to do with loading and unloading areas.

Same for me. Temples get engulfed in it. Tried to only use the first spawn (being outside of any temple) with no change : /

Hahaha, d'oh, not what that was intended to do. My apologies. I was trying to resolve all the "help, I'm stuck after respawning above easily destroyed rubble" complaints. Back to the drawing board. Will get an update to remove that issued first, then will try and resolve the rubble issue another way.

Edit: Hopefully better now. You can walk through the rubble (though it still blocks projectiles), and eat it if it's really in your way (though you'll get food poisoning), and it shouldn't flood your world. You can "drown" if you stand behind it; if I can figure out a solution to that I will.
