Crew dies after removing weapon (FU)
when i removed the weapon of one of my crew, who is a researcher from FU, dies immediatly after and does not respawn, the crewmember's status is unavailable with no health and energy,
i also cannot dismiss him using S.A.I.L either, resetting the loadout doesn't fix it.
i tried to recreate him using the npcspawner mod, but the same problem happens again.
and now i have two ghost crew that i cannot remove.

In the mod's interface, when selecting that crewmember, is there a red button with a "D" or a blue button with an "E"?

so um update, the bug seems to have fixed it self.... i just got on the save and the crewmember spawned in, i have no idea how this happened, i made no changes to the save or mods and it just somehow worked. and when i remove the weapons again everything worked fine.

all i did was resetting the loadout of the crewmember, exit to menu and re join the game.i tried this several times for the past two days with no result.
also i can see the red D and blue E and i can switch between them.

so ,i found the problem, the bug only happens when i have the red D button shown, and this affects all crewmember, even the vanilla type.

Yeah, it's because it is a "Disable" button, it make the NPC not spawn on the ship.
Seem like it is defaulting to "Disabled" instead of "Enabled".

The reason the button can't be clicked is because after re-enabling, they only respawn after reloading the ship.
I'll unlock the button soon, and put a warning, your crew members should be on "E" to be available.

I think I ran into this bug too I wonder if it was cause of the weapons from both Frackin Universe and the Eitherian mod or maybe it was also the armour

So, the "Disable" button has been enabled.
If your crew members have a red "D" then it means they won't spawn on ship.
Switching to "E" allows spawning, but requires you to reload the ship (traveling to a planet or reloading the save).

Doable, but what problem is it causing? (Is it some broken NPC item?)

It should only work on items that the NPC had when recruited or after using the "Reset" button.
If any item is changed by the player then copy mode doesn't work.

hm.. i remember i copy solar catana. but now its does not work. armor stats dont work on crews, only effects. and also crew max energy is 10. its ok?

Armor stats don't work on crew, I've tried.
But any augments or effects an armor has DO work on them. (modded stuff might only work on players due to how they are coded, NPCs and players are different in some aspects)

I don't know why, but many people don't get the energy of their equipped armor applied to crew members.
Some have said that is FU. Yesterday I downloaded the files for it, so I'll check again, but this mod load after FU already.

And it does work for me, which means it's hard to troubleshoot. (I don't use FU though)
