I'm not sure if this is a problem caused by a mod conflict, but I had to remove this mod because it completely wrecked job assignment in my empire. I completed The Flesh Is Weak special project around the time this event fired, and very quickly saw widespread problems with unemployment. I had dozens of worker and specialist jobs open on my planet, but still have unemployed pops. Once I removed this mod and reloaded the save, everyone had jobs again.

No, that's part of the mod! Pops are sent home, cause they're infected! (will make this clearer in the mod description

Oh, gotcha. Is there a way you could mark those so they can be distinguished from regular unemployed pops? Maybe you could introduce a job like the criminal one for sick pops?

@someperson: Yes, I've been meaning to add something like that, although I wasn't able to figure out how jobs were coded in the current release. However, you can be sure that in the next update pops will have their own job/icon if they're infected!

Not exactly a bug, but Automatic Pop Migration sends pops around & destroys buildings
Ya, it is really difficult to mod pops
It may or may not be a better idea to make it not unemployment, but a temporary trait that -100% production & -xxx happiness like how similar vanilla events do it

@TMA-1701: Yes, I've noticed this as well. In the new update they will be put in a new job when they're infected, thus buildings won't be ruined if pops die or get infected.

My end of year report seems to be broken. It always says "year one" and no stats actually appear for me. My only response is "It's a tragedy."

Another, uh, issue. I mentioned in the comments about dealing with the virus, but there might actually be a problem with curing it completely.

Even with all the colonies in my empire having been vaccinated, the virus modifier will still appear from time to time and I'll have to use the planetary decision to vaccinate again. I'm no longer getting yearly report popups, and my emergency quarantine edict cancelled itself out, as I assume I had removed the virus so it didn't meet requirements.

But as mentioned, planets are still getting the Virally Known modifier, so I need to be constantly vigilant with checking planets to revaccinate.

The virus started at 2250 right on schedule. It's 2275 now. =<

Could it still be spreading due to the AI not dealing with it?

Edit: Oof. I want into observer to check out some AI planets and they are just rife with self isolated pops. Every planet in the galaxy is infected except mine (because I vaccinate), the Fallen Empires, and a machine empire.

I researched the Viral Quarantine tech, but when I try to use the Quarantine Protecttionate decision, I am told that I don't have the wagho_event_planet flag. What is that? The situation log says I have infected planets, but none seem to have any flags saying they are infected.

It finally started working for me and I was able to cure my pops. There needs to be some kind of marker showing which planets are infected. I had to go to each planet and see if it would let me enact the decision.
