-If a part failed to update properly and it seems to "block" :
1. From the "Library" section, select "Download"
2. Try to use and click the "RESUME/ PAUSE" button. This will give a push to all downloads.
3. Last resort, close and restart the mod manager
P.S: Steam pauses downloads upon launching a game in order to prevent interference with connection quality that the game may need.

-Verify integrity of game cache (it does miracles to get rid of stupid Bugs and CTD)
1. Load Steam
2. From the "Library" section, right-click on the game and select "Properties" from the menu.
3. Select the "Local files" tab and click the "Verify integrity of game cache"... button.
4. Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.
5. Once the process is completed, the Check Window will automatically exit.

1. You should try it first with any other mods installed, and then add them gradually
-might come into conflict with one of them!


If you are not able to start Rome II: Total War then please delete the preferences.script.txt file you will find at the following location:

- Windows Vista\Win7\Win8:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Rome2\scripts

- Windows XP:
C:\Users\username\Documents and Settings\Application Data\The Creative Assembly\Rome2\scripts

In order to access this folder, please ensure that the option Show hidden files and folders is active:

- Go to the Control Panel and enable Classic View
- Select Folder Options
- Select View
- From Advanced Settings enable locate Hidden files and folders.
- Select ‘Show hidden files and folders’
- Click Ok

This will then reset the settings option and allow you to access the game.
