[SPOILER] All the current backstories (Fighters)
These are all the custom backstories that this mod add to the Fighters faction's pawns.
Every single one of this backstories have different skills boots/nerfs/disables and linked traits with different percentages.
Also, many of them are carefully linked one with each other to create a logic lifetime story. For example, childhood 'Arena Slave' will always be linked with one of the other 'slave' tematic adulhood backstories.
We are always adding new ones everytime we are inspired. If you have any idea let me know!

Childhood
  • Arena Tender: [Pawn] was an arena rat, carrying armor to combatants, cleaning the stands, and feeding the animals. Through time and service, [he] hopes to eventually earn a chance to compete in the Arena of Glory.

  • Smiths Hand: [Pawn] can be found amidst the fiery forges, helping to hold tongs in place and mind the quenching pools. When the master smith wasn't ordering [her] around, [she] was often practicing swordplay, careful not to dent the blades before returning them to the racks.

  • Arena Slave: [Pawn] never knew [his] parents or how to play tag. In fact, [he] still doesn't even have the freedom to do what she pleases. Life in the Arena is hard for a free person, and literal hell for the slaves forced to fight for their lives. Should [he] win and survive long enough to pay [his] debt, [he] too could pursue glory with the rest.

  • Student of War: The luckiest of fighters find themselves on the receiving end of the Arena's finest champions. Of course this isn't a standard education in a classroom, it is one accompanied by scars, bruises, and tough love. [Pawn] is often the envy of [her] peers despite being treated more harshly.

  • Quickfinger: In order to survive the rigors of life, [Pawn] has become adept at pickpocketing and other forms of deception. Typically, those in this line of work are caught and forced to battle in the arena, or they disappear, only to reappear when it benefits them.

Adulthood
  • House Tender: While the others were out fighting and raiding, [Pawn] would stay at home to cook and take care of the young and sick.

  • Arena Medic: After [her] settlement’s medic was killed by one of the patients, [Pawn] took on the role after seeing that [her] comrades wouldn't stop stabing each other for fun despite not being able to get the wounds tended. [She] spent [her] days triying to figure out how did those medical instruments work. Many tendings didn't go well, but [she] ended up understanding the basics.

  • Escaped Slave: [Pawn] did not earn passage from the arena in blood or silver, [he] managed to escape entirely. The beauty of it is that [he] simply walked right out the door, plain as day. [Pawn] just seems to be blend into anything and avoid being noticed.

  • Victorious Slave: Victory heralded in [Pawn]'s freedom, leaving a trail of blood, bone, and shattered expectations. With newfound freedom, [she] chose to represent [her]self in the Arena, studying the most successful of fighters and learning from their resourcefulness.

  • Favored Slave: [Pawn] has become so adjusted to life as an Arena slave that [he] has begun to enjoy the daily grind. [His] thirst for battle has made [him] a fan favorite, with spectators clamoring to watch [his] blade end another aspirant's journey for glory.

  • Disgraced Shadow: Despite the great privilege afforded to [her], [Pawn] was impulsive, manipulative, and borderline treasonous to the code of the Arena. [She] saw [her]self as far superior to [her] classmates, and given the opportunity, permanently removed them from contention. While no proof of this was ever found, [Pawn] always seemed to possess an unsettling amount of insight into the what-ifs of their demise.

  • Wardlord General: [Pawn] surmounted the Arena in record time, earning [him] the title of Warlord. [His] penchant for tactics resulted in [him] joining the war council as Warlord General, taking [his] peerless Arena skills and putting them against enemy armies.

  • Undefeated Duelist: [Pawn] has never known the sting of defeat. [Her] flawless record in the Arena is a direct result of [her] knowledge and familiarity with a blade. [She] doesn't rely on flashy tactics or devices, only on [her] own natural gifts.

  • Messenger of Darkness: [Pawn] managed to elude capture despite growing ever more brazen with [his] actions. The Darkness took note of [his] contributions and made [him] a deal [he] couldn't refuse. Didn't make much of a difference to [Pawn], [he] was just happy to have an advantage now.

  • Silent Mercenary: After years of deceit and working with the dregs of society, [Pawn] decided to take [her] unique skillset and become a soldier for hire. With a knack for gadgetry and precision, [she] has quickly become a high value asset.

  • Quickblade Apprentice: [Pawn] grew tired of the less direct approach to solving problems, instead opting to take a more personal liberty with them. [He] found it much easier to slit throats than purse strings.

  • Fight Lord: [Pawn] has successfully traversed the endless competitors within the legendary contest known as "Honor's Pantheon." Through endless trails of blood, sweat and tears, rigorous training regiments, and impossible feats, [she] has been crowned the Lord of the Arena, and is the sole guiding light for the legions of the Fighters. [Her] skill; unmatched. [Her] valor; unquestioned. [Her] valor; unbreakable. [She] is the embodiment of physical perfection.
