Monks and Fighters - a Rimworld of Magic factions expansion

[SPOILER] All the current backstories (Monks)
These are all the custom backstories that this mod add to the Monks faction's pawns.
Every single one of this backstories have different skills boots/nerfs/disables and linked traits with different percentages.
We are always adding new ones everytime we are inspired. If you have any idea let me know!


Childhood:
  • Altar Child: Raised early on under the Monastery's teachings, [Pawn] has spent the vast majority of [her] childhood contemplating life, sweeping steps, and musing the subtle differences in drinking water. [Pawn] practices discipline, understanding, and the value of a strong punch when diplomacy fails.

  • Diamond In The Rough: [Pawn] grew up as a bully and often stole, lied, and cheated her way though life. After being captured by a local magistrate, [he] was sentenced to servitude at a monastery so that [he] may contribute something of value to society. Little did [Pawn] know that this twist of fate allowed [him] to hone [his] fighting abilities and develop a sense of camaraderie. [He] still cant really take care of [him]self or anyone else, but [his] rough patch makes [him] martial prowess that much more incredible.

  • Silent Survivor: [Pawn] comes from a forgotten tribe, one erased from history as a result of warring kingdoms. [she] watched [her] village burn, [her] friends die, and [her] family be enslaved. The trauma never subsided from this, and were it not for the kindness of a travelling monk, [she] likely would have slowly wasted away. Now [she] works to forgive herself and steel [her] resolve for the future.


Adulthood:
  • Missionary: [Pawn] has taken a vow of piety, committing [his] existence to a lifetime of service as a Monk. [He] strives toward physical and mental perfection while working to achieve karmic equilibrium and mete out injustice wherever [he] finds it. Also enjoys soccer.

  • Sentinel: When those who cannot protect themselves cry out for justice, [Pawn] answers the call. [She] serves as a protector of balance and an extension of the physical side of karma. Whereas most would stray from combat, [Pawn] finds themselves drawn to it. [her] presence in battle is not angry, but one of stoic focus. [Pawn] can leverage this state of mind to deftly avoid blows and persevere through the most stressful of situations.

  • Sage: [Pawn] has sought answers, fought battles, and found [him]self at the pinnacle of understanding. By carefully considering the actions of all creatures, from the fluttering of a daylily in the breeze, to the thundering crashes of a herd of thrumbo, [he] is at one with life. With this knowledge of both the world around [him] and of existence itself; [he] knows where, how hard, and when to strike a target so as to completely vanquish it in one blow.
